Well Made, Sturdy, and Easy to Assemble
So long has it been since I bought a box spring, that when I looked them up on Amazon, I fully expected to be buying a wooden box spring with the wooden slats. I hadn't known that they pretty much all switched over to metal box springs that have to be assembled. There is such a variety of them on Amazon, that I looked at other people's reviews for a good rating, and particularly ones that were reviewed to be easy to assemble. This one had a high rating and was generally rated high for ease of assembly. The price was right, so I sprung for it (no pun intended). It did not disappoint. It arrived quickly, in fact sooner than they had predicted. It took one person less than an hour to assemble with the included tool. It sits solidly on the bedframe, and we are now enjoying its support!

Kingsize Frame
I purchased the king-size frame. It was easy to put together and works perfectly as a boxspring. Good quality and most definitely worth the money.

lightweight once assembled sturdy and useful
If you are staring at this in your cart like I did for several weeks, BUY THIS! I am full figured and hubby is a rough sleeper and this sturdy assembly holds us well I have it placed on a platform frame I also bought here and both are holding up well. Because of the metal on metal, I secured the box spring to the platform frame using zip ties two on top and to at the foot of the assembly and it dont shift as much as some others have said.It lifts us up enough I dont feel like I am sleeping on the floor anymore (platform only sits the bed about 18 inches from floor I got the 7in lift and it makes all the difference)I was skeptical about buying a boxspring in pieces but the assembly is fairly easy if YOU FOLLOW THE PICS NOT THE WORDS. The numbers are placed a bit wonky on the pieces but it goes together well.I'll update in a few months after nightly use and let you know how it holds up

Good for guest bed
Easy to assemble except two pieces were missing. I tried to call the company for replacement but they wanted pictures, etc. instead I returned (very heavy) and was sent a new on. Good height, heavy duty, no squeeking and good price.

Straightforward assembly, solid once together
After putting this boxspring together, I don't think I'll ever purchase a pre-assembled one ever again!Assembly was pretty easy, and the box has everything you need, including an allen wrench and a small ratchet. The instructions were specific about what order to do things in, but I just laid the parts out on my floor in their correct position, and snapped them together as I worked my way around. The powdercoating on the pieces feels high quality, and I did not notice a single sharp edge or corner. The pieces are all light but quite sturdy. I wanted a solid surface for a memory foam bed, and this seems to fit the bill.Something that worried me a little was whether the metal pieces would clank against each other when everything was assembled, but I think it'll be nice and quiet. The only place that metal could touch metal, there's a thin foam pad to prevent noise. At first I thought the cover was slightly undersized, but after getting all of the corners on, the material on the edges curves up over the top just a little on each side. It looks very nice once the mattress is in place. The ease of breaking this down to move it is a huge selling point. I don't plan on moving again in my life, but a large boxspring is a PAIN to move up and down stairs. This breaks down into a small enough package that you could easily move it up a spiral staircase.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a sturdy base for their mattress, and especially to someone who has a tight pathway to their bedroom.

Strong and yet affordable
Had never heard of a box spring that is not made from wood. At first, I was skeptical to order a box spring from steel. My skepticism then got slightly worse when I read some negative reviews about "OHM, it takes too long to assemble!" Being an engineer and an optimist upon reading majority of great reviews, I went ahead and placed an order for queen box spring. Not only it arrived in time but it was also well-packed. It is heavy and you will need 2 people to carry the box from outside to your bedroom. Once I unopened the box, I was surprised to find the individual pieces tied up in groups based where they all go. Every single piece is numbered and lettered. A piece numbered "1" connects to another piece numbered "1", numbered "2" connects with another numbered "2". Very simple and easy. The kit also comes with tools. The part breakdown is as per below:A (inner long rail) = 2B (inner short rail) = 1C (outer short rail) = 2D (outer long rail-1) = 2E (outer long rail-2) = 2F (Slats) = 10S (shortest screws) = 8M (mid-length screws) = 4L (long screws) = 2H (nuts) = 10The best advice is that open the box, remove the cable ties, lay out all parts on floor as per the intended connection and get an idea of who connects to who (without actually assembling). It is otherwise called a "raw" or a "draft" assembly". Once it is done, it takes 30 minutes MAX to connect all components. I then put the cover on it and zipped it up. Voila, it was now ready to be placed on the bed. The moment of truth was moments away. My daughter and I lifted it up and placed it on her queen bed. It fit perfectly. We then put the mattress and lied down on it. It is very sturdy and does not squeak upon rolling. Overall, it is very strong and affordable. Here is the best part. It can be unassembled and moved to another place much easily (than the traditional wood box spring).I highly recommend it. Buy it with full confidence!

Fantastic replacement for a standard wooden framed box-spring.
Works as expected, securely holds my mattress in place on the bed frame. Solid construction, the perfect height for my mattress and head-board and easy to assemble. Initial assembly might seem daunting, but just start bolting things together and you'll be done in no time! The cover that it comes with seems durable and I like having the option of removing it and washing it should the need arise. The unit is a bit on the pricey side, but you'll be hard pressed to break the slats on this versus a regular wooden box-spring. And that durability, though more expensive, comes at a reasonable price. I feel I have received good value for my money and a solid product that will serve me well for years to come.

Excellent quality
Initially intended to buy the 5” version but was sold out. This one is perfect under our new king size Casper mattress. Assembly was easy, you just need space to lay it all out. No squeaking or noise which was what we were afraid of.

Excellent Zinus product, but...
As with all Zinus products I've tried, assembly was easy, included ratchet drive was a blessing, fasteners are top quality. However, if you're buying this to fit on top of a metal frame where your primary contact is the perimeter, it will just slip and slide all over unless you McGyver a way to secure it. It was an unfortunate surprise for me, but I drilled out holes at the head and foot and secured the unit with nuts and bolts, then put on the cover. Just think it through.

Affordable, functional and easy to assemble!
I ordered the ZINUS box spring after I had purchased a bed but could not get the queen box spring into my basement suite. Delivery was quick and I was grateful for that alone. The instructions were easy to follow and assembling it was just as easy. My kids helped to assemble. After using it for a week I absolutely love it.
