Pelican 1012 Foam Set (Gray)

Foam and shareable with lines to customize while in a pelican box. Can get wet and not weatherproof if not in a pelican box.

These are not very easy to use. I bought it along with a 1010 case to store extra small metal hardware for a couple moving lights. I went through the tedious process of picking out the correct spaces to store these pieces, (all slightly larger than marbles) and then jammed the foam in to the case. The case walls have waves in them and this piece of foam doesn't have those cut out, so the foam is a tight fit.Additionally, the foam doesn't touch the top of the case when it's in the case, so small things will come out of their foam holes if the case is moved around like this one is when the moving lights are in transit from one venue to another.If you need to secure lots of small items, you should probably look for a different solution.

It is easy to shape the foam. You just pluck out some small squares, and it seems to hold up nicely. It is kind of pricey for what it is, but it does get the job done. I use it along with the Pelican 1010 for my RX100. It holds it nice and secure.

I like this foam except that for some reason it wasn't plucking out very clean for some reason. I thought you would just pull the foam and it would come off clean however it took a little finesse to get a clean, square cutout.

Works great with the Box. Only one pad is necessary unless you have something very small and very delicate. 2 Is a little overkill and doesn't quite fit too well in the little box.

The foam is not deep enough (for my use). It is the thickness of the bottom of the case, and leaves the top part of the case open. I will have to use a shim of some kind inside to keep the foam up higher to fill the top of the case.Looks black to me, not grey.

I love being able to customize the foam. but I wish I could somehow make it "permanent" after I do my cut-outs. I guess that's why it's disposable...

Used it for the Pelican 1010, just cut out some foam for whatever you need it for.

Little mad I spent 22$ plus tax for foam the size of my hand, didn't read the description but when I found foam that was cheaper and bigger I figured this wouldve been bigger then the size of my palm, it's fine, I'll just have 22$ foam sitting my room until one day I forget how much I spent on it and throw it out.

Misleading product. Not as advertised. Makes it difficult for buyer to return. Not happy

Exactly what it says it is... fit's perfectly in the 1010 micro case... The cut-outs are decently sized for small devices. Not sure why a person would give it less than 5 stars because they ordered the wrong thing.

My fault. Didn't read the product dimensions. However $10 is a bit steep for this tiny piece of foam (About half the palm of your hand)

Es un gran complemento para el estuche pelican 1010 !!! no solo calza perfecto, si no que además trae una infinidad de pequeñas marcas, que sirven para dar forma a aquello que queremos proteger...genial!!
