Kelty Folding Cooler (Forest green)

I have owned this cooler for nearly 3 years and it has served me well. I also own a Yeti, which I use for extended camping trips but this little guy is perfect for shorter weekend trips. It keeps cool but I didn't expect it to be Yeti cool and that's fine (especially for the price). It doesn't leak and it holds its shape really well considering that it can be folded down. I've packed it in my car with gear on top and it has never collapsed. My only complaint is that the ring which attaches the bottle opener to the zipper is rather flimsy, I had to replace it with a beefier keyring. Still not a big deal. I love how compact it folds down. We've also used this to transport food when driving to potlucks - its keeps things warm as well as cold. For me it was money well spent on a quality product.

This really worked well on my trip to New Orleans. If folder down to fly with and once up in the room our cash hide nicely between the bottom and the insulated interior. It did not do a bad job keeping things cool. I am very happy with it.

WE bought this Kelty FOLDING cooler to pack for our long distance motorcycle travels. We pack it folded and when we find a grocery store before we camp for the night, we purchase our nights meal and unfold the cooler and put our items in it and then find our camp site and set up camp. Then the next morning we fold it back down and tear down our camp and load up and ride away. The liner inside is very sturdy and coated. The feel of the liner reminds me of the rubber on inner tubes. The liner has a coating on it. I think that the liner would be hard to tear or punture. The cooler keeps everything cold. You have a cooler, when you need it, and then you pack it away. No need to haul big heavy weight coolers for traveling. You get what you pay for with this innovative folding cooler.

Works great as a cooler as expected. I'm not thrilled with the purchased as it is rather heavy and it folds up to only about 1/3rd it's open size. When full it is a bit heavy. It would be nice if it had wheels. I bought the large size. I think the smaller sizes would be more useful. Quality construction.

I bought this last year and took it camping immediately. I went on a 4 day trip. It was just me and my girlfriend and this cooler worked great. It felt very durable. It's not too large but holds a good amount. I think if you were going to use this cooler on a long trip for 4 or more people it may not hold everything. The cup holders on the top is terrific and the handles on side are very comfortable for carrying...and where I went camping you must carry your cooler. Also, the fact that it packs down flat is terrific. It's easy to breakdown and easy to set up. I plan on getting the larger cool for this year.

Great item, very useful. Lightweight, well-designed, keeps items cold. Does a very good job.I took this to a hotel room where I stayed for 2 days and my "ice" pack (not ice, some sort of chemical stuff) remained nearly frozen the entire time. My yogurt remained cool to the touch also. Not at 100% refrigerator temperature but good enough for my purposes.I use this to keep groceries cold/frozen if I am out running errands and shopping in a long trip of 1-2 hours. When not in use can compact down to take up less space in the car. Works well.

I loved this cooler. It kept everything just as cool as a hard sided cooler and it folds up when I'm not using it. The smallest size is a bit small for a couple to camp for three nights but we made it work just fine. I would consider getting another one size up and then you'd have some flexibility for what you pack. In the small, though, we fit two bottles of champagne, 12 eggs, bacon, tofu, hot dogs, cheese, whipped cream, chocolate chips, sausage, and probably a few other small items.

We almost didn't buy this product because it did no come with a strap. Then, I noticed that the second image displays a strap for the cooler yet the strap was not shipped with the product. If you are looking for a cooler to be able to carry over the shoulder then this is not the cooler for you. We are going to return this product. The drink holders on top were convenient, but carrying this without a strap is not worth the price. We were also not pleased with how cold the items were able to be kept at.

Having been disappointed with the quality of coolbags on offer from some of the more well known brands, I wanted to invest in a quality product that would last. This really is the business. You can tell straight away that it is in a completely different league to the other cheaper coolbags I have thrown out over the years.The outer material is a very strong and should stand the test of time. the insulation is really quite thick and keeps food cool all day long. I really like the way you can fold it down for storage. and when you do, it has a nice flat top and bottom, which means it stows away nice and neatly when stored in a cupboard.

This is just a great bit of kit. I've used it this summer to keep fishing bait cool, a couple of decent cool blocks last ages and kept the bait nicely chilled.The removable liner is a great item, so you can remove, hygienically clean then reuse for food (if you use dual purpose like me).Solid bottom and top keeps things robust, and the sides are really solid to support and protect. I have the medium and it's an ideal size for a weekend away or even cold items from a shopping trip home. Looking forward to using it more next summer. Which is a strange thing to look forward to for a cooler but that's just how good it is!

I purchased this just over a 2 weeks ago as needed a decent cool box for work as my work keeps me outside all day. If you are looking for a top quality cool box then look no further because this is it!!! At 6:30AM I put 2 medium ice packs in with some drinks and lunch and it kept the extremely cold all day and at 5pm the ice packs were still slightly frozen!!!. It will definitely be coming camping and fishing this year and the plus side it folds flat when not in use.. Well thought of. ;)

I have hard coolers so I wanted a foldable one,and this is a great option.I got an excellent reduced price last week and delivery was good.when it was delivered I was disappointed the cooler had several scratches on the bottom,seemingly from a packing knife,however not deep enough to affect performance.the stitching on the right front corner seems off,which affects the overall shape of the cooler,but the performance seems good,it will retain ice for over 24hrs and is easily stored.given the great deal I got I can't really complain but if I had paid full price I wouldve definitely been disappointed and sought a replacement.looking forward to using it in future though.

Really good cool box. We moved house and needed somewhere to put frozen food overnight. Worked a treat with ice to pack around the food. Was able to put the meat etc. straight into the freezer the next day.
