Easy peesy
I bought 4 different training apparatuses this was the last straw. I tried the fake grass, he thought it was to play on. I bought a box type basket … he sleeps in it , and the blue pads which apparently either taste good or the smell irritates him he just tore them up. Just about gave up & thought I would try one more time .WE HAVE A WINNER !I read the review & saw some complained it made noise when the dog stepped on it. So I took a hand towel , folded it in half and placed it under the device. Works great ( except when his front legs are on it and he thinks he is all the way on it. 😂 the corner locks hold the pad in place so he can’t rip it up . 😁 We are making progress so I bought a second one ( we have a tri-level.) I like that the edges are curved up , this helps with leakage control.Patience , it will work.

Perfect solution!
Bought this to keep on my screened patio. I always keep a pee pad there in case my new young puppy has an emergency before I can get to open the door to let him outside. It's perfect, and holds the pee pad perfectly in place, even if it's breezy on the porch, which is exactly what my problem was. It also catches any stray pee drops and prevents then from falling on the floor, ensuring easy clean up.Fantastic idea, and very user friendly, simple to use.I also love that it folds up so small.Next time we are taking the doggies on a long road trip, it will be very handy to use in our hotel rooms to protect against accidents in an unfamiliar place, and when the outdoors are further away than just letting them in the backyard.Very glad I bought this pee pad holder!

Quality of product
It's not as thick as my older holders that I purchased over 10 years ago. It's not the quality like they once made. It is much thinner, it works; but definitely not what they use to make. That goes for anything these days.

Wasn't helpful for me
I got this because my 7lb female yorkie doesn't always squat in the center of the pad and she gets half on the floor and half on the pad. I thought with the sides on this it would deter her from doing that and that she would continue further onto the pad but that didn't happen. Instead she stopped going on the pad at all. After weeks of trying to retrain her etc I stopped using it and she immediately started going back on the pad. She only uses pads when there's snow but now I can't return it and I wasted my money.

Protects your floors
No matter the quality of potty pad I buy, my dog somehow manages to pee in one spot over and over and it eventually saturates. So I found this so I can stop having to mop my floors every day. It's easy to use and will protect your hardwood floors from pee that has saturated on the floor. It's also good for potty training so your pup knows exactly where they are supposed to pee. The only downside is this is 21x21 and most square potty pads are 22x22. It still works, it's just not a perfect fit. But I'd rather the pad be too big than little so it works for us.

Great to keep in place
I have two of these. They’re especially great in the house underneath the fan. Where you can’t just leave a pad because it will blow over. Sometimes I travel with these. It does fold in half but it is a little bit bulky, but still it keeps the pad from folding over.
