Unacceptable for an oil sealing surface
Forgive my dirty fingernails. I work on vintage cars and motorcycles. This is supposed to be a nominal 40 mm. There's a scratch on the bearing surface and a rough seam that would cause premature failure. There are also rough spots inside, which isn't a seal-contact surface, but I wonder if they might cause an interference fit to jam before fully installed. I don't consider this acceptable for a new sealing surface. It would need to be polished down.

Not rear crank for rear main seal
So I asked what location this was for and was told rear crank seal. Well doing the rear main seal and the whole box and all is smaller than so. This is not for the Volkswagen 2.0 rear crank
