The book is a great help, especially in light of the Canadian border being closed.

Author actually paddled the reviewed rivers. Material somewhat dated but still quite usefull.

This is a great book if you want to explore some of Minnesota's rivers and streams, but I do wish that some of MN's thousands of lakes were covered as well. The detail is good and helped clear up some questions I had about paddling some nearby rivers.Hopefully next season I will be able to check out more of these rivers!

This detailed, highly readable look at a wide selection of northern Minnesota paddling routes is a must for any Minnesota paddler's library. Packed with useful maps showing mileage, points of interest, campsites and historic landmarks. The routes chosen reflect a wide range of skill levels and geography. I look forward to buying the companion guide to southern Minnesota.

This gives great maps and tips and detail for paddling rivers in MN, I love this book!!!

Perfect informational book. Recommended to have on hand, and can find if it right river category for beginners to use.
