I bought this hard disk not even cheap, it's not working after one month, the problem I did not do anything to the product just by it self not working. I lost all my file dont buy from them

Partiamo dell'estetica... è bello e solido. Si presenta così bene che può essere un oggetto anche di arredamento. È abbastanza silenzioso (non concordo con le recensioni in cui viene descritto come rumoroso). Il trasferimento dati in Raid 1 è sui 200 MB/s , considerato che parliamo di un sistema con 8 tb di spazio (4tb in raid 1) mi sembra al di sopra della norma. Unico neo il manuale, che dovrebbe essere migliorato. Il software di gestione invece è buono. Provato a contattare anche il supporto tecnico... OTTIMO! per qualsiasi problematica o domanda, nel periodo di garanzia, si può contare su un supporto affidabile! Straconsigliato.

Support has been the WORST. The drive lost the ability to be docked or recognized...I tried repair from my Mac, did not work. It wasn't recognized by any computer I have. When I contacted Seagate, they said only 2 days to receive a replacement. Then they changed it to 5 days. A month later, still no drive arrived. Then they said it would only be 5 more days. 2 months later, there is still no drive sent out. The Check Status on their site still with my order number still says "Not yet proceeded." SEAGATE SUPPORT? .... I am literally talking to yet another Seagate "support agent" as I write this review, and they just do not care about the problems caused. Everyone I talk to uses the same scripted words "escalate the issue" "understand your concern" "check for updates" "check with my team"...it's just the same scripted responses like I'm talking to kids working on their phones spread out in different places all over the world without any knowledge or authority to do anything. f Meanwhile...40TB of footage held up...the project is over 2 months delayed. What a complete waste of money and time.

I won't consider purchasing from them in the future. The product began malfunctioning shortly after I started using it, and their customer service was unsatisfactory. It took an excessively long time to receive a refund. They also required me to cover shipping costs, which I've never had to do on Amazon before. Despite suggesting they would refund the shipping fee, they ultimately declined. Fortunately, Amazon intervened and refunded the shipping costs. Dealing with this company cost me both money and time due to their subpar product and customer service. Do not recommend

専用ソフトを使うとミラーリング設定がとても簡単です。 特にDTM用途なんかでMacでライブラリとワーク用にパーテーション切って尚且つ安全のためにミラーリング、しかも大容量が必要となるとこれ一択ですね。相変わらずの転送速度の安定感のおかげでDAWとは相性が良いです。 ただ流石に持ち運べるサイズと重さではないのでノートPCユーザーにはお勧めしません。

This is now the third LaCie 2Big Docks that I've owned, so obviously I'm a fan. That said, they can be a bit frustrating. Specifically how often they'll fall asleep. Truthfully, this could be a Mac OS issue, I’m not entirely sure but I can be editing in Final Cut Pro, switch to my mail app for a second to see if there's any new mail, and by the time I return to Final Cut, the disc has fallen asleep and I have to wait upwards of a minute or two for it to wake up and allow me to start editing again. It's incredibly frustrating! I've taken to using a third party app to keep it awake by constantly writing a little bit of data to it every 30 seconds, which works, though I worry about the long-term effect it'll have on the drives. Also, while I usually don't bother with installing the software that drive manufacturers ship, you absolutely *need* to install LaCie's poorly named "Toolkit" app so you can not only adjust the LED brightness but more importantly reformat the drive to a Mac OS format in order to optimize speeds. That being said, considering the other options I've tried in the past this is among the best. I just wish it was *better*.
