Extremely pleased
Literally the best thermal paste I've ever used, and it wasn't even expensive. Ease of use: The paste came out of the tube easily, spread very easily from edge to edge, and the applicators are very good as well with just enough give to bend and get a good angle while strong enough not to break. The package comes with black disposable gloves which makes keeping track of where you're touching the paste easy, and your fingers clean. There are thermal paste cleaning wipes that are huge, easily enough to clean any reasonable amount of paste and probably unreasonable amounts too. Functionality: I'm using it with a 9700x and the Thermalright Phantom spirit 120 se; In stress tests I'm hitting 165w before it starts thermal throttling on me, which is about 100w higher than the chip is advertised for. In normal use I'm getting low 30C temps overall and high 30C-40C temps on the package. Absolutely phenomenal heat transfer here. My recommended usage: I spread the kold-01 paste across the whole ihs for guaranteed coverage and added a supplemental dot in the center to squish with the cooler to mitigate height variance with my application. This paste is good for both cpu pasting and gpu repasting, so at some point I'll be buying more and I recommend you do the same while it's in stock.

Outperformed my previous Thermal Grisly Hydronaut in both performance and durability
I liked the old tried and true Thermal Grisly Hydronaut, but the problem i had with it that it would pump out every year and needed replacement if it's used in conjuction with a high thermal load application ie. direct GPU die contact with a customer waterblock. the yearly oil change in my custom waterloop was just getting annoying to me. Read a lot about pastes for many months and heard about KOLD-01 by Kooling Monster. Initially i was skeptical because this isn't one that's widely advertised in the watercooling community, unlike Thermal Grisly's product, which practically is plastered everywhere from forum, to social media and youtube endorsements. (not to say that TG was bad). But the Kooling Monster KOLD-01 exceeded my expectations. 9 months into my inital application on my 4080 Super on a custom waterblock, GPU hotspot delta went up by about 1 degree Celsius (initial application was 50c GPU vs 58 hot spot, 9 months after hotspot sits at 59). Previously with any other pastes, like the thermal grisly hydronaut for example, I would be looking at a hotspot going up to 63 degrees. This is by far the most stable paste that i've worked with. I love them so much that i ended up buying another tube, be it the largest tube they sell, just so i can have plenty. I even started using it on my friend's builds. This paste is a gem, just wish that it's more widely known.

Supposed to be one of the best. Expensive and hard to spread. Maybe worth it.
I think people comparing it dropping one or two degrees versus others are forgetting that thermal paste is not about actually lowering CPU temperature. Thermal paste has only one purpose and that is to provide as low resistance towards heat transferring from the CPU to the cooler as possible. This one, supposedly, is one of the best outside of specialty options. If you see a temperature drop, that does show that it's better, but what you're really doing with this is reducing thermal cycling and increasing your processor's lifetime hopefully. I will say I had a real devil of a time actually getting this stuff to spread evenly. It seems very dry. People are saying that if you discard some of it it gets better, but this wasn't the case for me at all. I had to try several times to get it even and it was a struggle. I'm glad I didn't get a smaller size really. I think the included tools were a good idea, but even the bigger spreader was a bit too small which made it harder. It might be better to use something else, but I didn't have anything quite suitable handy because it didn't occur to me it would be a bit too small. Hopefully with no thermal pumpout this should stay fully effective for longer than many others out there. That said, all this is probably worth it. I believe that it's dry to help prevent thermal pumpout. And from all reviews and benches, it seems that this one is probably currently the absolute best overall for thermal transfer until you get to the specialty things like carbon pads. Those better options are more expensive and often have to be perfect on the first try or else you have to buy a new one, so this is better for most of us and the difference of those is chasing that last 1% anyway.

AMD 5950x idles in mid 20s; full load stress test mid 40s (Celcius)
This is the first time I used KOLD-01 by Kooling Monster. I read about it in Tom's Hardware 2024 review of thermal pastes, so I though I would try it. The results are very pleasing on this AMD 5950x build: 1) Idle in the mid 20s 2) Full speed stress test in the mid 40s at a133 watt draw by the 5950X This is my second build using the Thermaltake View 51 snow edition case. The AIO is an ASUS ROG STRIX LC II with 3x120mm fans in push configuration and 2x200mm fans in pull configuration. All fan groups are individually programmed with custom temperature ramps. Still the system is fairly quiet under full stress. This system runs cooler than the previous View 51 case with AMD 5950x, and this Kooling Monster thermal paste certainly plays a major part in that.

High Quality Thermal Paste For Top Cooling
I get very good temps compared to the more popular brands (even the German one). A lot of times better for less money. Spreadability is good. I actually used the X method with a dot in the gaps. No spatula required.

Temperature dropped from around 85 degrees celcius to around 72 degrees celcius
I ended up using two of these across two different AMD Opteron 6386 SE processors, which I have had a challenge keeping from overheating. There's no question applying this paste in a similar pattern where I draw a line along the rectangular portion of the processor definitely brought down the temperature significantly. I used to have my box crash if I watched youtube videos. Now, I can watch videos without it overheating. I didn't change anything else in the system in-terms of liquid cooling, heat sinks, etc.

Una de las mejores pastas termicas
Pasta térmica de excelente rendimiento, es un poco viscosa por lo que es aconsejable calentarla un poco antes de aplicarla para mas facilidad. Ademas viene con toallitas para limpiar los restos de pasta térmica.

Does what it says
Hello guys, I have been using this thermal compound for the past 15 days and I have seen tremendous improvement in the temps. I honestly didnt expected it to perform this good as based upon the reviews it decreases temps upto 10 degree celcius but I have seen better results. Well it's not just the thermal paste who is doing wonders but I would give it atleast 50% credit in the overall improvement. Lets dig into the technical aspects, Before applying this my MSI laptop with a core i5 - 10300h and Nvidia GTX 1650 Max-Q reached around 80 degree celcius and it was unbearable to kepp it on my lap as I used to game alot especially DOTA 2 with everything maxed out in settings. Earlier it used to give me 60-70 FPS easily without toasting my leg but eventually it started doing it and the two main reasons were clogged heat vents with dust and also the thermal compound. It also affected alot in the gameplay as the FPS dropped significantly. I was going for a cooler master mastergel pro when I came upto this and thought lets try it out because its price against the other thermal compounds. Also this products review were great too. So why not I am getting more in terms of quantity and quality against significantly lesser price and boy oh boy it did wonders. When I received this the first thing I did is to clean that clogged heat vent and apply a fresh batch of this paste which was super easy to spread and they also provide cleaning wipes, spreading tool for the paste to be applied uniformly. This is really thick and very very easy to spread just like butter but not as soft as butter. Do not apply butter as a heatsink compound hehe. Finally the temps were dramatically reduced in the first day I would say it reduced approximately 20-25 degress I didnt measured them but based upon the feel and the gaming performance it surely did reduced. Now I am happy as I am getting 60 fps stable in my DOTA 2 game and my leg is not getting toasted. Kudos to the makers. Job well done. 5 Stars without any doubt.

Ottima
