Q: what is the best way to clean this? Specific settings? Can it go in the dryer afterwards?

I washed it on gentle in warm water and dried it on low. Turned out great.

Q: My dog is eating too fast, how can I make him slow?

I sprinkle the dog food over the mat and the ruffle the pieces into the mat. They become lodged deep in the shag, and the dog has to work to get them out. This slows him down.

Hi, it puts your dog’s nose and brain to work by mimicking the hunt for food in nature. It keeps them entertained and is great for dogs that eat fast as it slows them down.

Q: Was this product made in the USA?

No this is NOT made in the USA! The reason we paid a little more for this mat versus the others advertised was because we were under the impression it was made in the USA because of a prior incorrect answer to this question (in fact I searched Amazon with that particular question and this item came up). However the snuffle mat we received Feb. 2020 has a tag sewn onto it that says “made in China”.
