Your basic inductive timing light. Bright light makes it easy to see the marks. Works great.

I highly recommend that no one buy one of these. I was only going to use it one time, but it did not work when I tried to use it. Something was loose on the inside and rattled. My return time limit has expired, so it will go in the trash can. After the 30 day return policy (I was kind of upset after getting a defective item that I couldn’t return), I wrote the above review. Amazon contacted the seller, and the seller contacted me immediately offering me a new timing light and a refund. I wasn’t interested in the refund, but very appreciative of a new timing light. Today I got a new timing light and Amazon refunded my initial purchase price. I have to retract my above review, as this company seems to be on the up and up. I have to recommend this company’s products, as they will uphold their warranty with good service. So, it is possible to get a lemon product from any company, but the warranties mean everything about a company. I have to upgrade this sellers review and products (as they are great with their warranties and service).

The timing light itself seems to work fine but the inductive clamp uses a slide action to put it on the wire. This works horribly and is poorly made. You have to squeeze the clamp in order for the ferrite cores to touch and for the timing light to operate. I experimented a little with putting tape and then a rubber band on the pickup and this seemed to work, but I don't want to have to mess with this. My old timing light that quit working had an inductive clamp that opened like a clothespin and this worked great. I am returning this timing light and will get one that has a better inductive clamp.

priced right, fast shipping and works well

It did the job the first two jobs, by the third it completely stopped working. The sensor has a problem picking up on the coil cables and by the third use it wouldnt pick anything up. I guess you get what you pay for
