Perfect Replacement!
This keyboard fit my Asus X53XD perfectly! The keys have a slightly bluish tint to them, and almost appear to be backlit, but they are not.It took all of 2 minutes to install, and works perfectly!The price is right, also!I highly recommend this sellers (SUNMALL) keyboard!

Meh.
It's adequate I guess. Doesn't always register the key stroke, and there is an occasional crunching sound when the keys are pressed (Seems kind of random.). Over all though, It does work and it's relatively inexpensive.Update: 08/25/2020 For a few months I've had a problem with some of the keys, most of the time it's the top two rows of keys not working. It seems to happen at random intervals and not always the same keys. The right arrow keys has stopped working altogether.

Great replacement for a failed keyboard
This keyboard was just like the OEM keyboard on my laptop. It was an extremely easy installation that took all of maybe 15 and that was me taking my time not to damage anything in the process. You just gently pry the old keyboard off and carefully unplug the ribbon cable, plug the new keyboard to the ribbon cable and snap the new keyboard back in place. It is just that simple!

Perfect Fit
I received this product promptly from the seller, boxed and protected well and in pristine condition. The keyboard was for an Asus K53E and it fit perfect. Installation was easy, though, as with all laptops, a certain amount of disassembly is required for the swap.Initially I found the keyboard keys to be slightly more spongy than the original board. But it was just a matter of becoming accustomed to the new feel of the keyboard and after a very short time, presented no problem at all. I have not found any problem with the keys not registering when depressed, as has been noted by a few others in their reviews.I put a lot of hours on my laptop, daily. I've now been using this keyboard for 21 months and have experienced no problems what-so-ever.
