While I can’t tell if this baseball cap really provides UPF50+ protection, it is indeed waterproof. I put my hat under running water to test it. Water just rolls off in beads. This pretty much satisfies the major reason I want to buy a hat to wear in rainy/snowy days. It keeps my eyeglasses from getting wet! Of course, wearing it on other times is a plus, especially with UPF and light reflective protection. I recommend it.

I wore this hat running the Long Beach Marathon this year. I stayed comfortable and WARM while running. The last 5 miles I had to run against the wind uphill, literally, so the hat did fly off a couple times maybe because it is so lightweight but then again the wind was relentless. The strap is easy to adjust in the back, will definitely wear again.

Very nice cap with excellent waterproof material.Only issue is I had to adjust to the smallest (possible) size and the strap just hangs about at the back, spoiling to look. It would be really good if they had added a way to tuck or hold the strap down rather than it looking like a dog's tail hanging off the back of my head.

Light weight and comfortable. Haven’t had much rain yet but no reason to doubt it will do the trick.

It’s alright, it looks very wrinkled, and it’s a little small. It fits like a children’s hat
