Okay but not great
I bought these because it had a large selection of dies. But I found that most of these would be useless for me and importantly didn't come with a yellow sized die for insulated connectors. I have used other ratchet crimpers and this one is much smaller overall, so I expect it will take more effort to use. The storage box has no way to store the dies without them getting mixed up. Overall, meh it's okay but there is better

Work great once you get the hang of it
Electrical work like what these are made for is not my forte, also I'm getting older and my eyesight and dexterity is tapering off. That being said, anyone can use these to make beautiful crimps on your connectors. It takes a little practice and paying attention to how the connectors sit in the jaws. Speaking of jaws, this set has jaws for just about any type of connector you will ever need to set. The design is ergonomic and the force multiplication is excellent! Changing the jaw sets is very easy and it comes with the required allen wrench too. I'm very glad I purchased this tool. It will make crimping connectors much easier for me in the future. These are well-made enough that they will probably go to my grandson when I am too old to continue working. Oh, almost forgot, it comes with a very nice case to keep everything in as well.

Tool just ok, zero instructions
I’m not a professional with wire terminations. That said, I’ve done a fair amount and have 43 years of automotive/motorcycle wrenching experience including wiring, and I hate to do anything that doesn’t look factory. So, I bought this crimper to do open barrel terminals and to have on hand for other types if they ever came up.As soon as it arrived I opened it up to use. First observations: zero instructions. Opened Amazon to look at the pics and re-read the description but found the different jaws are not marked in the same way they are for the advertisement, they look quite similar, and it’s a bit of guesswork to determine which jaws are for what types of terminals. Maybe a pro would know offhand but I do not. That took me a solid 30 minutes and I bagged each pair with a note specifying what they’re for to make future reference easier. Next came figuring out how to use the open barrel jaws. Again, no instructions but after staring closely at the pics on Amazon and messing up two terminals I managed to figure out which direction to insert the terminals. The jaws are not wide enough to do the whole crimp in one shot, so you have to crimp the barrel onto the insulated wire, then slide up and crimp again to grab the bare section of wire. The final crimps DO look very nice and have held strong so far, for me. I also had to use pliers to reshape the terminals before inserting them into the crimper or it just mashed them into junk. (Bosch terminals…not cheap).Final opinion? I wouldn’t recommend them. The price suggested a quality tool but frankly this thing is not worth that I paid. I would rather have a truly good tool that works every time and I never have to buy again, instead of one that I have to mess with each time to figure it out and double-crimp every terminal. It does work, and it does make nice crimps in the end, but it’s far from being a great tool.

Works as expected
Works fine. I've had no issues crimping various terminals so far. Dies are cast or MIM, but seem to be more than capable of bending soft metal tabs. Wish the die swapping pirocedure could be snapped in and out instead of a screw, but for the cost, it's fine.

Good value, good crimps
Good crimper, two jaws for no-insulated terminals with good size ranges unlike others. Comes with printed index page for jaws and crimp types selection, but it would be easier to spend time and to mark with permanent marker an individual plastic bags with the jaws code, so it is easy to locate.

Cheap, and it works great. Instructions could use work.
Note that I got the crimper by itself with no stripper. The crimper works exactly as expected. Install the correct die, feed the connector or splice, feed the wire, then crimp. It works fine with fairly thick closed barrel connectors. I've never had any failed crimps with it when it's used correctly. There's no visible wear or tear after a few dozen uses. The two issues I have so far is that the dies are annoying to change out, requiring removing and replacing 2 screws, and the sheer amount of dies. 9 dies available sounds good, except that some of the crimp shapes are duplicated on more than one die, and the instructions isn't correct on which die to use. Honestly, for the price, I'll take those as the only drawbacks.
