Lace Up Ankle Brace a Winner
The Lace Up Ankle Brace for women was very supportive without being bulky. I had anchilles tendonitis and it helped me tremendously. Most of the time I forgot I had it on and although it was on my right foot, I could drive comfortably. At first it was a bit confusing to get it on right as there are no instructions included in the packaging. I went back to the picture on Amazon and was able to see how the straps went. I used a Taos mule as my go-to shoes while I wore it, along with a sock, so as not to aggravate my ankle and it worked just fine. I highly recommend this brace for achilles tendonitis.

Great price for comfort & atability!
I don't normally write reviews but after reading reviews, I felt like I should give my opinion on this product. I purchased this brace because I had a fractured talus & needed ankle stabilization. What I liked about this one is that the lining is soft & seams are flat which means there is no irritation or friction against my skin or in the arch. Lacing is easy & long laces I fold those up in the velcro which help secure the ankle stability. Really like the semi-rigid plastic under the arch & along ankle. Really comfortable & gives good support. I had purchased a more expensive one, but I sent it back because it was bulky & not as comfortable as this one. Really happy with this one & it allows me to still be active while recovering.

Comfortable
This brace does what it says it does, but takes a few times of putting it on to lace up. A bit complicated. But it's a very good brace.

Very supportive!
My husband tore some ligaments in his ankle and this was a life saver for him! The support was remarkable! It is a little bulky, so he wasn’t able to wear his regular shoes, but slides did the trick!

Not comfortable; not worth the price for me
Have had trouble getting these comfortable..I’ve tried them tight but then I wake up in pain with the sides cutting into my feet (I like to sleep with foot braces for pain relief). I’ve tried them loose but still wake up in pain. I don’t care for the straps as they are NOT flexible. Guess for some, they do add stability but because they aren’t stretchable, with time, they are not comfortable and I wind up taking them off. For me, they feel more comfortable WITHOUT the straps. Have to decide whether to risk it and cut the straps off…or just return them. For their price. I have some other strap up braves for a fraction of the price of these, and they were better quality too! Overall, NOT impressed.

Perfect Fit
I had a trimalleolar fracture and had to have surgery. One metal rod a metal plate and 13 screws. After wearing a cast and boot my doctor wanted to prescribe an ankle brace to help with support. My insurance wanted to charge me $90 for a brace so i asked for a picture and was able to find the exact same one for less. I wear a size 8 in women’s and purchased a small. It fits perfect and the support is amazing. Would definitely recommend!!!

Chore to Put On
ReturnedBought this after I broke my foot & podiatrist suggested this lace up style support after my boot was removed. It was a chore to put on & it was uncomfortable as the sleeve inside moved. Especially if you have neuropathy, you don't want anything moving or bunching up around your feet.I went with another laced Velcro style with inner sleeve attached that fit better.

Good support
I have two broken ankles and had surgery on both. I’ve been using these braces around the house and to sleep. I liked these because the straps specifically go under my foot and Velcro attaches up by the ankle, keeping my foot up and my ankle at a (roughly) 90 degree angle. If you’re not able to point your toes to put these on (like me) I have to undo the laces quite a bit and lace them back up.
