Great repair manual

It's actually is a very good book. But at one point while working on my radiator it tells me to remove my gas tank. And a few steps later it tells me to start the bike. Hmmm, kind of hard to do with no tank. Ya think? And you can't just run a longer fuel line. The petcock also has a vacuum line. It has to detect vacuum while the bike is running or the gas won't flow. I think this is to stop the carbs from flooding. I had to make my own external tank from a plastic bottle.
