I have added a picture to compare the "usual" compression PF sleeves to this one. I have chronic PF after tearing the muscle multiple times in both feet, so I pretty much wear them at all times. These are a little different from my other compression sleeves in a couple ways.First, I think they would be perfect if you feel that regular compression sleeves cause you discomfort. After a long day in the higher level compression, I can't wait to get the others off. They start to hurt in sensitive places that these don't. These are amazing in that they don't end in the usual spots that cause pain. They go over the ankle a little more (no more kankle!), and over the ball of your foot to stop that pull in the arch. That might make them great for dancers too, because they stay put over the balls of you feet-- no sliding or rolling!While the compression level is a little less, the design is pretty cool. They're thinner and more breathable, which will be great for summer-- I sweat so much in the thick ones. But even being that they're thinner, they have a surprising amount of support the way they're designed.Since I need a lot of compression, these weren't quite enough during the day for me, personally. But they're way more comfortable than most! So I have been wearing them to bed at night. I hate those splints they give you, it's impossible to sleep in them. These keep your arch from relaxing too much at night which can slow recovery (in my case I'm just preventing further damage), and they're so breathable that they don't keep me up at night.

I have recently developed some pretty severe Plantar Fasciitis. Mine is the worst in the morning, I usually limp the first 20 minutes after getting out of bed because the pain is so severe. I wore this compression sock last night while I slept and for the first time in months I did not limp after getting out of bed. I could still feel the plantar fasciitis, but the pain was reduced drastically.My guess is that the compression sock is keeping pressure on the tendon throughout the night, not allowing it to swell and become inflamed and painful by morning.

These ankle compression socks are great! I bought these for my husband because he has a very hectic schedule through out the week. I bought these ankle compression socks for him, and man are they helping his feet. It not only helps with the swelling, but it also helps with the relief of his ankle arthritis pain. The fabric is breathable, washable and it is sweat resistant. It is thin enough to wear with socks and tennis shoes everyday, so you can wear them anywhere! Definitely worth the purchase, and I definitely recommend this product.

I've had a complete ankle reconstruction surgery several years ago and I hike a lot. In the past three years I started running more after joining Crossfit. Sometimes my heels will hurt and I don't want to get severe plantar fasciitis as everything on the side of my ankle surgery has to be rolled, stretched, massaged more often as time goes on. I looked into compression socks and this is my first pair. The first day I got them I wore them all day just to see if I'd notice anything. I have to say I do feel more blood flow and my heels hurt less. I really can notice a difference in how my feet feel.Update: 6/30/18In the past 3 weeks I have taken a strenuous 20 mile hike in the mountains once a week (60 miles) and wore these. My feet usually hurt after hiking so long except these three hikes they didn’t. Only thing is that I had to order another pair to use one solely for hiking and another for when I do any runs. These are amazing as an athlete!!!

My ankles were burning & every time I got up my feet were popping/cracking. It was very painful. I wear a size 9 (US), 40 (UK) shoe & ordered Medium sized socks. They are a snug fit and feel like they are hugging my feet. However they are not too tight as to be uncomfortable. I put them on my feet & the pain level in my feet reduced a couple notches right away. After wearing them for a day, the pain in my ankle is down to a 1 and my feet do not hurt when I stand on them. The cracking practically stopped all together. By day three I felt like I had my life back. The pain was virtually nonexistent. I really recommend these socks. They are thin and fit in my shoes like dress socks. My sports socks fit over them to wear in shoes & I can barely tell the difference in the fit of my shoes versus not having them on. I can wear them all day and my feet are comfortable unlike when I wear a brace. They do not prohibit movement as a brace would so keep that in mind of you are thinking about help for a sprained ankle. I will definitely purchase more of these!

I bought these socks to use under swim fins as I really didn’t like the neoprene socks that are available and wanted my toes free. Also, I wanted ankle support as fins can be really hard on your ankles. These socks are well made and unlike some compression socks, these don’t hurt your feet. I have small feet (women 6.5-7) so I bought the small. I have used these socks in the pool for long workouts every day for over 10 months and they are now beginning to fall apart from chlorine. I was surprised they lasted that long as most swim suits don’t last that long. I am so pleased I am purchasing another pair. They fit well under fins and I’ve been able to avoid the blisters or skin being rubbed off from vigorous workouts with fins. They also provided better ankle support which led to less injuries which was what I was hoping for. If you’re a competitive athlete, I highly recommend them in or out of the pool.

I ordered a large but the brace is really tight

The compression sleeve brace did not fit my husband's foot. He probably would need a XL, and they at this time do not make any in that size according to the feedback I got from...

I sprained my ankle and 3 weeks in my ankle was still swollen and painful to touch. I wanted to move without pain so after reviewing many compression socks I chose these.
