Q: Would these be suitable for those with wider calfs? Would going a size up help?

I did go a size up in these boots as I know from previous experience that my calves are too wide for my normal size shoes

I found these wellies to be very roomy on the foot and u could easy put on a thick sock to .I found the calf fit fine to but I have quite skinny legsI had to tighten them a bit the boots are adjustable on the calf . Look good on to nice design.

Q: Are these 100% waterproof

I never had a problem with them in wet or muddy weather over the field feet always dry
