Good knife sharper. Decent value.

Tiny, but does the job and then some. This sharpener takes a good bit of metal off the blade but I won't live long enough to see the blade be consumed......... In the mean time I will have sharp knives. I've used just about every device to sharpen knives and I am capable of getting a better edge with stones but not without a good deal of time. This gets a knife sharp enough to carve meat and chop whatever in just a few strokes. A real pleasure to have sharp knives without much effort. The suction base holds quite well so fingers don't have to be in harms way.

I bought this particular sharpener because the Amazon description says that it works for serrated knives. It works fine for regular knives, but it ruined a serrated knife. I went to the product web site to see if there was a special technique I should have used, but no, it says that it doesn't work for "finely serrated" knives. Well then, don't say that it works for all knives!

I've had numerous sharpening stones and systems and I must say, this is one of the best and simplest sharpeners I've owned. Yes, it does take a bit of steel off when you sharpen the knife but used as intended, it will be a long time before you'll need to replace your knife. It did a fantastic job on some of my hard steel filleting in just a few strokes. To me, this was the acid test and it worked wonderfully. Wish I had found this while I was still living in Alaska and hunting and fishing.

This little 3"x3" beauty arrived in the nick of time! I was hacking my way through some chicken to add to the crockpot and decided to put this new arrival to the test. A few pulls, and my knife was like new! I love that it "locks" down on the countertop. I'm seriously in love, and all my old sharpeners are off to Goodwill; they are no longer needed.

Absolutely amazing! We used it on every single kitchen knife, my two pocket knives, even infamous Wüsthof knives and it worked like magic! It revived an old dull paring knife that we thought was beyond any sharpening. My parents were so impressed, they asked to borrow the tool and never returned it. Bought another one without thinking twice. Super happy! Excellent product, highly recommend.

This is a great little sharpener! Just a few pulls through the guide and viola! - a super sharp cutting edge is there! It is very small, almost easy to lose in a kitchen environment, but worth its weight in gold! The suction cup works extremely well too! Everyone should have one of these!

Great for a basic knife set but you have to be careful because you can mess up the blade. For my regular house knives this does the trick and I really like how compact it is, easily tucks right into a drawer when I don't need it.
