I researched youtube and saw this guy said he got this cable off desertcart to fix his drive issue. When you normally get a white screen on Macs it's having communication issue from hard drive or hard drive could be bad. Got this, followed the install and it was easy peasy. Worked first time as it booted. Saved me tons of oney. Thanks for making this sata cable still!!

Just what I needed
I have a 2012 laptop and got the dreaded White fold questionable screen. I knew hard drive worked testing on another computer. I could not find the answer. Fixed Question mark issue on MacBook.
Good cable. Isolated cable with electrical tape so this doesn't happen again. Laptop works great now. Shop told user it was a bad hard drive. Not so.

Works and feels like an oem part.
Works fine out of the box. Easy to install if you’re familiar with the delicate nature of apple internal hardware. This one can be confusing as you have to crease the cable in several places during install, but the creases are marked. Just follow the pattern on the cable you are replacing.

Worked well, but doesn’t come with IR sensor wire and bracket
Worked well, but doesn’t come with IR sensor wire and bracket .. however the laptop works well without the IR sensor wire.. there is a way to pull the IR sensor wire from your original cable and attach to the replacement cable, but it is very delicate job, and maybe left to a professional Overall, for $10, I am happy that I don’t have to buy a new laptop!!
