Bought this to allow me to read codes on a newly purchased BMW F31 touring and it worked faultlessly (and thankfully no codes)...Before I finalised the deal; I wanted to read the codes whilst out & about on a test driveI had the Creator C310 before this and that was perfect for previous, older BMWs; but it doesn't cover the F3x range of BMWs, so 'upgraded' to the C410Small enough to spug away in the car and it's literally plug n play...And it'll register a battery for you; that's if you're replacing like for like... It won't 'code' a new battery to the car if you've changed the specs of the new battery compared to the old battery FYI

Bought this to register a new battery for a BMW 1 series. Sadly, it did not work so I returned it and bought a different one. Has a lot of functions, so not bad for the price. Just didn't work for what I specifically bought it for.

Purchased this for use in my Mini, works very well, easy to use and understand and does the job.Very useful

The scanner does not do service update or new battery reset on a f20 BMW even though it said it was compatible in the description , again amazon is selling these cheep Chinese items which do not work

Bought this for BMW F31 I had replaced brake discs and pads and not the sensor, sensor tripped giving red dash light brake system drive moderately code. Bought a £20 OBD2 which was useless so thought I'd try this one. Instructions are a little lacking in information. Tried the auto scan and it picked up numerous faults that I wasn't aware of and of no importance, the one code I was looking for relating to brakes wasn't there. Went into the manual search which it recognised my car model but in the engine, chassis and body menu again nothing related to brake sensors. I gave up and set for returns and started searching for a Tool in the forums. I came across a video of someone using a different tool and they didn't use auto scan or manual but went into the service menu. I thought I would have one last go and to my annoyance there was the brake sensor reset :( cleared the sensor code, turned off the car and turned it back on and the red dash light was gone ffs. So if you are trying to find a fault to reset don't rely on auto or manual search, check the service tab before you give up and spend more on an OBD that might come with better instructions. I hope this information will help.

Bought a battery from Halfords. They then wanted £49+VAT to register it on the vehicle. They told me in the store it would be £25. Clearly not happy with that, so bought this for the same price and did it myself. Easy to use and worked perfectly. Took a couple of minutes. Now I have the tool for next time or any other OBD2 issues. Highly recommended.

Purchased to register a new battery. Fiddly to get in socket but it works.
