The clips aren’t tight enough for me to hold it in place properly.

These are not really tight enough to really do much. Great concept but I think the maker might have been scared to make them any tighter. To help the nails bond honestly these need to be tighter but not so tight the cut off blood flow to the finger tips so I get it is a fine line. I did one hand using these and the other by the old press and hold technique. Old way hand stayed on 2 weeks. New way started falling off or lifting day 2. Really wanted this to work.

A lot of full tips are more arched than my natural nails, so I tried these to keep the tip in place when curing gel used to attach tips. I wish the springs were stronger, but most people would then complain they're too tight. So, I get the nail under the lamp and maneuver my other hand in to press on the clip. This generally works- I have to be sure I don't accidently mis-align the tip on my nail. The clippers work well; I don't use them for forming, as it's too hard for me to ensure straight alignment on myself, but they're great when removing tips to shorten what has to be removed.

The little 3D dots on the clips are really nice, really helping the clip stay in place on the nail. I really like to pin it down to eliminate bubbles & make sure it doesn’t move when I’m curing gel glue.They also don’t seem to dissolve, mattify, and get sticky when exposed to acetone (an issue I’ve had with other clips), but since I’ve been more careful with these, I can’t say for sure.The clippers are fantastic as well. Really good set for the price, though I really don’t need this many clips!
