I used the boxes on my high living room windows. They complimented the room perfectly with some hanging string of hearts plants.

It's really great for a beginner. Fits well on my window ledge so my plants get lots of sunlight from inside. Love the bottom water tray too. Plan on buying many more!

I really like this planter! It's the perfect size for my window sill, with enough room on each side for another tiny pot if I chose. It's a great depth for things like herbs, or small radishes or other small plants, maybe even dwarf tomatoes. The collection tray holds a lot of water, so over filling isn't such a fear. In my case, the radishes' roots were able to grow down there for water too, which I'm okay with. I did have to put a 1x1mm (estimated) hole size drain mesh to keep the soil from escaping through the drain holes in the pot, it does not come with any.

Love that the dark brown bottom is lifted a little for the extra drainage that these plants need anyway! It’s perfect for my setup!
