This was a huge concern because the balance was really off. Fun to play with, maybe I got a defect.

Don't buy!

This yo yo doesn't work
We followed the directions to put the string onto the yoyo, but when we wind the yoyo ad then "throw" it according to the directions, it does not come back up the string, AT ALL. We are trying to find information online to see if we are doing something wrong - but even my husband, who can yoyo cannot get it to climb the string. It just spins at the bottom of the string. :( If i find more information, I will update my review, but at this point, this was a dud and I've already thrown away the packaging so i cannot return it. :(
