Q: Milky white and thick substance. Is this normal? I want to make sure mine did not go bad before it got to me. I've never tried this product before.

I believe it is normal. Mine is like that too. I received my first bottle in March before the temperatures got so hot.

Q: Can this be added to oatmeal or scrambled eggs?

yes, however the bottle is small & drops are small so putting on the end of a spoon works fine.
