I had suffered for about 3 weeks with extreme calf tightness, felt as though my calf was spasming/cramping all the time, terrible when I had to go down stairs and to walk on general. I saw this icepack and instantly knew it was right for me. In the box you get 2 sets of icepacks. Each pack has 2 icepacks in it that have straps with Velcro fastening, and it can be fastened as tight or loose as you feel comfortable. The instructions say to put the packs in the freezer for 20 minutes, I personally left a bit longer (40-60 mins) but it depends how long you want to have them on your leg, some injuries only need 10 minutes of ice contact so it is best to check really. I did once leave for a few hours and it was too much so I didn't do that again! Anyway, with the icepacks you also get a zip lock bag so it protects the material against ice burn. I used these for 7 days, and would put one in the freezer when I got up, 40 mins later put it on my leg, then put the other pack in the freezer. The icepack seemed to last me 20-30 minutes, then would swap the used one with the cold one in the freezer. So I had this routine constantly during the day and didn't use anything overnight. I am back to normal now, but these icepacks will be kept very safe and will certainly use again in the future. I used these for my calf but they are also good for shins, and would be ok for knees. They are definitely worth the cost as they are very well made.

Personally not a fan of these. Frozen over night, but only stay frozen when on legs for a few minutes until they go warm again. The velcro straps aren't very good & they're just uncomfortable to use.

Seen a few people saying they don't go cold enough but these are superb. maybe their freezer needs to be colder

Easy to place but quite stiff when frozen, doesn't mold to leg quite well.

Arrived on time , the quality is number one- exactly what i need, perfect fit for me , bigger knees , might be a little small , one improvement , i would suggest longer velcro attachment , otherwise an excellent product , very high quality , once again , kudos to this supplier , a big tks

While these can be used hot or cold, I store them in the freezer and use them against my shins, as I have very painful neuropathy from lyme disease that flares up especially in my shins. They freeze well, and because they are frozen and are thus obviously not exactly contoured to my body, they are a little klunky at first; however, the velcro straps work just fine to hold the ice packs against my shins. I only use them when lying down; I don't think one could walk around wearing them. I do make sure that I'm wearing soft pants so that there is a light layer of cloth between my skin and the packs. For me, the cold definitely relieves the pain. I did a lot of searching before buying this brand. These are a fine product and are as advertised.

They fit odd shapes perfect. ie shins, knees elbows etc.

Perfect product. Great quality. So easy to use and it’s never too cold even against bare skin. I highly recommend it!
