I only use this for my woolens and cashmere. I've used it for years on sweaters, coats, wool diaper covers, scarfs, socks, base layers, hats, etc. we wear a lot of wool in our cold climate and i know people find washing wool to be a drag but it's really not so bad. I follow the directions on the bottle and it's easy to just soak all of my woolens in the top loading washer with the proper temp water and proper measurement of soap. It's shocking how well it works and to see how much nasty stuff comes out of our clothes leaving them soft and smelling fresh. After they've soaked, I use my hands to kind of swish everything around gently and then set to the spin cycle to pull the excess water out. I lay things out to dry and everything smells, looks, and feels fresh. Though this bottle takes up a lot more space than the smaller size, the value is GREAT if you are also washing a lot of wool on a regular basis.

Makes clothes smell really nice and the ingredients really good for the skin. Tried other brands and they have too many chemicals.

This is the best wool wash I have used in my 40 years of knitting. It has lanolin in it that softens the wool a bit while the knitted item soaks. It is very economical, you need very little, and it leaves no residue and no need to rinse. I will not use anything else on my hand knits.

If you hand wash your wool like me, this is hands down the best deal. Great scents, revitalizes lanolin in the wool and no rinse needed, super gentle for my skin. Sometimes I like to add a few drops of my Hotel (fairmont or shangrila) scented essential oil to the wash before adding it to the water for a scent boost. I live in Colorado and have a synthetic material allergy so I wear/wash a lot of wool. Having this huge bottle makes it easy for me not to run out. I refill my smaller bottle from this larger one which I keep on the back row of my shelf.

Love this. Quite expensive but HEY beats dry cleaning all the time and risking your favorite pant/sweater getting ruined(it has happened even when you go to top tier dry cleaning as they mix clothes to wash that has stuff coming off ruining other items washed with YOUR stuff). It really does soften your wool clothes and even better does air drying without that annoying stiffen effect. Abit of gentle jet steam with iron makes any creases goes away n it just really helps your winter wool clothes laundering easy n less headache-y. Worth it.

I have found that it is better than any other detergent I use. In fact, I use it to wash my wigs on the "Delicate" cycle. It's safe for all fabrics and it get out stains that I have forgotten to spray. I used to use it on my alpaca sweaters only. Now, I use it on all my clothes and towels. Just one capful per load.

this product is unlike any other fabric care wash. It contains a high amount of lanolin to restore the natural balance to woolens which softens the yarns and helps prevent moth damage. It is amazing also for vintage linens and fine fabrics. While there are detergents for fine fabrics available, this is not detergent which makes a huge difference

No rinsing required and makes wool softer
