Good quality day and nighttime video capture
Used this for 10 weeks and very pleased with the quality of the day and nighttime videos. My main concern when I purchased it was battery life, so I bought some good lithium batteries. They have lasted ten weeks. They take an hour to recharge and I’m back up and running, so not concerned anymore. Camera was very easy to set up. I have it set to capture 30 seconds of video at a time. I access it via Wi-Fi twice a day on my iphone and either download or delete videos.

Gardepro E6 First impressions
This Gardepro E6 camera was not my first choice, however it has one big advantage over my original choice as it does actually work. although it too has some short comings. The build quality seems fairly good with a sturdy waterproof case and a strong clip to keep it closed. Setting up was quite simple using the menu facility to make changes to the default settings. Although other people have had problems with the WiFi connection this was not the case with my unit and the range although limited is adequate for my purposes. The daylight picture and video quality is very good for a camera in this price range, as for the night vision it is difficult to quantify at present as we are currently having heavy dews and the lens has been fogging up. It has however triggered at night showing foggy video of a hedgehog and a fox.The big advantage of this camera over my original choice is the use of 940nm no glow Infra red LEDs and the fact there is no visual indication that the camera has been triggered. The original choice had 850 nm Lo glow LEDs and there was a flashing red LED during the time that the camera was operating after being triggered. So what’s wrong with this camera, well not a lot if you get one that works correctly. The temperature recorded however on my videos is totally incorrect, I ask you, 19 C at 3 am in the morning in Cornwall in early April. The temperature was actually 7 C at that time. I find the microphone to be too sensitive as it overloads and distorts when a pigeon coo’s 3 or 4 feet away. A method of reducing the sensitivity in the menu would be useful. Finally, adding the date to the title of files saved on the cameras SD card would be a great asset. Files are saved in numerical order which is fine, however if you save these files to another device (a desktop PC in my case) and then delete the files from the SD card the numbering starts over again. If you then save the new files to the other device they have the same name as those already saved. The addition of the date to the file name on the SD card would overcome the issue in most cases. The issues listed above limit the star rating to 4 rather than 5

Battery life disappointing
The media could not be loaded. First time trying a wildlife cam. After reading reviews I decided on the E6 WiFi as wanted to be able to just use the phone to see videos and download etc. Set up was pretty straight forward and we were up and running in no time.Captured some great shots of Mammy hog that’s living in our house we built and looking forward to seeing her babies soon.I used Duracell batteries that cost £10 for 12 so not the really cheap ones. They only lasted 5 nights. We had been taking 30 sec videos with a 30 sec delay but as the mice were also out at the cat food all night long we were ending up with 100 plus clips per night so I’ve now dropped the clip length down to 15 secs to see how that goes. If it wasn’t for the mice it wouldn’t be so bad I guess.Going to look at getting a power cable long enough to reach into the window as otherwise it’s going to cost a fortune in batteries. Other than that tho the camera and phone app is brilliant and has got us some great clips of the hedgehogs.

Stopped working after 6 weeks
Was great at first. Lovely clear night vision high def video and pictures of the wildlife visiting the garden. Sadly the camera stopped working after 6 weeks and no matter what batteries are used life cannot be breathed into it.

Good images - when it works…
This is the second one of these I’ve had (and the 3rd in total). The first of these 2 stopped working after a year, I suspect due to water ingress following the torrential rain, even though it’s supposed to be waterproof. The second, a replacement, has stopped working well under a year - though of course just outside of the return window. It has new batteries, a new SD card, and has been protected from the worst of the rain. The videos when captured are good: however it has stopped recording when I know from my security camera there was sufficient movement to trigger capture. Yesterday was the last straw: a fox went right by it and nothing was recorded.I’m really annoyed at this as I use the camera to monitor the hedgehogs that come to my garden that I feed every night, and monitor their health. They are critically endangered and I’ve picked up & taken a few to a rescue as a result of the videos, but now I’ve no way to do this. I’m certainly not able to shell out yet another £70+ for something that based on the experience of all 3 wildcams I’ve owned, won’t last a year.Is anything built to last nowadays??

Can spy on wildlife and they're none the wiser!
The media could not be loaded. Really happy with this. Got it to go near my pond and see what wild life we have and it's been working like a charm!! Easy to set up, lots of settings to try out, easy to move round, been working through frost, rain, fog, wind etc. None of the animals seem bothered by it either. Really great fun, can show all my friends and neighbours what visits the garden now.

can not attach a solar panel
it seems to work well but eats batteries and has limited range and there seems to be no input to attach a solar panel as it only has one 12v dc connection
