Super comfy.....brown is not brown
No surprise to me that this is a comfortable saddle. If you prefer a round profile with an anatomic fit this is for you. Materials in this new version are excellent. There has been an improvement in the density of the cushioning (I have older ones to compare). The nubuck leather in the "brown" version is excellent and keeps your butt where you want it on the saddle. So why 4 stars? While the materials and fit are excellent most folks buying a brown saddle want just that to go with a color scheme. The photos are deceiving. It is sand color. This saddle is a beautiful tan, not brown. I am hoping that it will darken with use. My bar tape is the lightest Brooks leather and it is MUCH darker than the saddle. This saddle will match the plane Cinelli cork tape perfectly.

curiously affordable
Leather on seat was coming unglued badly. Had to gorilla glue it rather than send it back and waste my hard earned time off.This seat is not available anywhere else at this price tho. Makes me wonder if production is honest. I've had turbos on my bikes for 20+ years and after gluing this one rides as advertised.No box.Curiously affordable.100$ on selle italia website but it has a synthetic cover

Great
Very comfortable and good looking seat. I can't say how it stacks up to the iconic original, but it sure looks right to my eyes, and feels right to both my butt and my wallet. Great choice for a vintage bike.

Probably a knockoff
Purchased for my retro rebuild and upon its arrival, I immediately noticed the glue was not keeping the fabric in place. Sent it back and got a replacement...same issue. I should've known this was to good to be true for the price. My intuition is saying this might be some type of knock-off.....

26" BMX
Nice saddle for a 26" BMX . I was in search of a padded saddle with similar style of a Viscount Dominator . Rode two separate 30 mile rides this year. Comfortable, no sore behind.Whish it had chrome rails like the original.

Brown cover seems cheap
The description says "Selle Italian has relaunched the Turbo 1980 just like the original". While the saddle looks very similar to my original vintage Turbos, the cover on the brown saddle appears to be some weird fabric, not leather/suede/nubuck like the originals. Looks vintage and works fine, it is just not "like the original".

Vintage 80's Comfort
Okay, title may be misleading...this saddle is styled after the original version sold in the '80s and is perhaps NOT the most comfortable saddle (compared to modern or more expensive saddles), but I have many miles on mine without any issues. It is a basic saddle. Looks great on my vintage Serotta and Specialized bicycles (the vintager version of this saddle was original equipment on them.) Highly recommend this for any 80's vintage restoration project!

Cant get any better than this.
INSTALLED ON ONE OF MY VINTAGE STEEL ROAD BIKES. PERFECT VINTAGE LOOK ALMOST LIKE THE ORIGINAL ONES FROM THE 80'S. WELL MADE AND COMFORTABLE. NOT REAL LEATHER BUT STILL LOOKS GREAT AND IS WATER PROOF. WILL BUY AGAIN FOR OTHER BIKES.

Good seat but is colour mis-represented and not what I wanted..
Seat is good but arrived in a light beige rather than the brown it appears to be in this ad.

don’t be too happy with the price
came in a transparent plastic. back part leather already peeled off from the base. the words look like stick on.
