Easy to Use
I am a homeowner and DIYer. I have very little experience with plastering walls. When I decided to repair water damage in my home I knew I'd need good tools to get the job done well. The positive reviews led me to buy this trowel. After applying the very first bit of plaster I knew I was holding the right tool for the job. I had used this to apply the basecoat and finish coat. I'm convinced this trowel helped me to build my confidence and hone my technique. The handle design does make a difference in comfort especially after an hour. After several cleanings this trowel shows no sign of rust. For me this is a big deal. All of my drywall knives have rusted a bit.

Did sharpen the edges and did go straight into the job using this new trowel for 30m2 of wall. One could maybe argue the back is a bit flat, but I don't mind it too much as the belly has a nice curve so you don't leave marks either way. Also the handle isn't that big and quite close to the trowel, what I like, but definitely a preference. I like it enough to use to replace my old trowel, its light weight, the handle fitst my hand really nice and the stainless steel will be better for my dirty way of working than carbon. My wall already turned out fine after the first go, so after working this in it will be a beautiful trowel, definitely give it a go if you're in the market.
