This plate allows you to get food on your fork or spoon without pushing it off the plate. If you have only one hand or arm, these plates will allow you to eat things like rice or other things that you have to scoop-up. The lip keeps things on the plate allowing you to get it on the fork/spoon. Great product.

What a great device for those with fine motor skill problems or issue with depth perception. This plate provides just the needed amount of space for the user to push against with their spoon or fork. No more chasing food around a plate. Nice to have a set of 3 so always ready for the next meal. Lightweight and easy to handwash or put in the dishwasher.

I bought this product for my 97-year-old mother-in-law. She is legally blind and has a hard time seeing her plate and because of her mobility has a hard time getting the food off of her plate the side lip helps her tremendously when using a spoon, we just make sure that the plate is positioned in the right spot on the table for her. The suction on the bottom is perfect. You can still lift it, but you don’t have to worry that they may accidentally bump it with their arm and have a plate on the floor. I would recommend this to anyone that has limited mobility, or for the elderly or the impaired

My husband had limited use of his surgical arm. He was having a hard time eating without food spilling off plate. These plates have higher curved edge on one side and great suction on the bottom that enabled him to scoop his food up without plate moving around. He was able to maintain his independence feeding himself without major frustration. Dishwasher safe. Great idea! Thanks
