Chrome Plated Brass Box Escutcheon Sure Grip

I bought this from a third party seller called "Binford Supply House". The escutcheon I received is definitely NOT brass. It is chrome plated STEEL. It's easy to tell with a magnet. If it sticks to a magnet, it's steel. Brass is not magnetic.
