I picked up these IRONANT Step Drill Bits because I was tired of playing musical chairs with my bit set every time I needed a different hole size. These things are magical — one bit, multiple hole sizes, and I feel like a wizard every time I use them.The titanium coating? Shiny and tough — just like I pretend to be in the garage. They chew through metal, plastic, and pretty much anything I throw at them without complaining (unlike me halfway through a project).If you want to look like you know what you’re doing — or just make your life easier — these step bits are the way to go. Plus, they make satisfying spiral shavings that will have you drilling holes just for fun.

Need to drill a 5/8 inch hole in the wheel well to the engine bay to access hood release latch manually because of detached cable release. Step drill bit reduced the risk of damaging any nearby wiring harness. The drill bit drilled easily for no effort! Was worried it might jam or stall my drill. Cut through with no problem. Happy with the quality. I only needed the large bit but since the price was low, got the whole set with a nice metal case.

Nice group and storage box. Could have used this a week ago. Have it now for next project.
