BTSHUB 21pc A/C Clutch Removal & Installation Kit Air Conditioner Clutch Holding Tool Set

I bought this to swap out the clutch on my 2003 Xterra A/C compressor. The compressor was in perfect working condition and only needed a clutch. The tool uses 3 screws going through a plate that has 3 slots. The clutch has 3 threaded holes for the 3 screws to thread into. The tool manufacturer includes 3 different size bolts, for various applications. You MUST use 3 bolts. For some reason, the tool manufacturer chose to include 3 of one size bolt, 2 of a second size and 4 of a third size. Ofc, it only came with 2 of the bolt I needed. I got a third bolt somewhere else.After properly installing the tool, and with very little effort while trying to push the clutch off, the jacking screw shaft got crushed and twisted. As with all China made parts, the metal was so incredible weak it couldn't hold up to even a quarter of the force required to do the job.The handle comes partially assembled, using 3 countersunk phillips head screws....screwed through a plate that is NOT countersunk. 2 of the phillips head screws got stripped trying to remove them. One of those had to be drilled out.Components within the kit don't even work together. Their dimensions make them incompatible. But, when in doubt, consult the instructions.....oh yeah, there are no instructions!I had better luck removing the A/C clutch with a homemade tool and a bit of basic ingenuity. By then it was too late, though. This Chinese piece of crap had already damaged my compressor to the point that I have to buy a new one.I wish I had known this was made in China. I never would have bought it. This tool is going in the trash.

For this product I know that I was paying for what I got but this is fairly bad I got it and it came with a case that looked all beat up and had some strange colored satin on the plastic but I put that to the side because it’s just a case oh well right… WRONG I started to look for the right tool for my ac compress clutch for my 2003 jeep limited and as I was going through the tools (which doesn’t come with instructions nor comes with labels so it is kind of a guessing game trying to google any of it) but I found one that was already starting to rust and it had already be turning orange from the rust and I must add that it wasn’t exposed to any moisture or any water as when I receive the product but I can’t even tell if this thing will work sense I have to wait for me to use it but it will scratch the paint badly when trying to adjust it so overall this product I would give a D- just because it is something from China and I got it everything else is a F- everything is poorly made it was as some would say damaged but I would just suggest going to a auto zone or somewhere like that and buy one not this cheep trash

I was able to remove my clutch using this tool, but the threads for the installer are not right for the compressor shaft, I had to find another way to install my clutch after buying this tool that claims to be able to to install a clutch on a a6 compressor.
