Perfect choice to use with Ring Floodlight Cam
Replaced my front flood light with a Ring Floodlight Camera and I needed a new weatherproof junction box. This works perfectly with the Ring Floodlight Cam and mounts easily.

This is expensive.
Tried this RAB box because I couldn't find any white TayMac aluminum boxes online at any vendor that sells them at the normal price (are they discontinued?) The RAB box I received seems in no way better than TayMac aluminum electrical boxes. But, it did cost twice as much. It doesn't come with screws. Screws don't thread into the box very well. It doesn't look especially pretty. There is nothing visually that distinguishes it from any of the competition. In fact, I think the finish isn't as good as TayMac, Sigma, or Greenfield. I wouldn't recommend this box, and I won't order any more of them.

Incorrect product description
Other reviewers are correct: there's no gasket included. This statement in the description is not true: "it comes with a 1/8" thick closed cell foam rubber gasket for protection from weather." It does not.

Did the job for me.
It's pretty much an outdoor electrical box so there is nothing special about it except for the color. I couldn't find white at my local Lowes so I decided to pay the much higher price on Amazon. I needed bronze ones for my other installations which I bought a much lower cost locally.

Sturdy material
Happy that it was metalic and not plastic. The sun here in Florida degrades plastic mountings like no tomorrow. Took only a few minutes to mount.
