Sarah Wells Cold Gold Breastmilk Cooler with Ice Pack

This is a lovely cooler for breast milk bottles. As a mama pumping at work I wanted a nice looking bag as a little extra something for myself.This cooler matches my Sarah Wells pump bag and is absolutely gorgeous. It’s sturdy and the ice pack included keeps the milk really cold for up to 12 hours.However, it’s not any more effective than the plain black bag I received with my breast pump. It’s really overpriced for what it is. The pattern is gorgeous and that’s why I bought it. Definitely overpriced for what you need.This brand is really overpriced IMO.

Yes, it's a glorified lunchbox. Yes, the cooler brick could be better. I get why it's got good reviews, though; cute designs and perfect size if you use as intended for 4 large bottles.My intended use is to bring pumped milk to and from work. I won't pump into the large Avent bottles we have (too heavy). I love the Avent milk storage bottles that hold 6 ounces each and pump and store directly into those. They are lightweight and the lids are leakproof. Despite measuring, I thought they would fit about like the milk bottles. I was hoping 8 would fit, even though I really only need 4-6. However, they don't fit. I knew it would be tight but it just won't work. I can fit 4 but then the "clever" size isn't perfect anymore and it's a waste of space. I had also hoped the "redesigned" cooler pack (forgot where I read that) would mean it's thinner and that would help my case...Off to find a different glorified lunch box. BTW, the pumparoo dry bag was comically big -- so wrong size as well. I only needed it to hold my one pair of flanges, but it is big enough to hold 4-5 pairs!

Haven’t used the bag yet, but it seems solid and a great size.Unfortunately, I didn’t not receive the bag I ordered. I ordered the limited edition mosaic, but received the one in the picture. In the other picture you can see the Mosaic label placed over the label with a different color name. As annoying as it is to not have the cooler match the wet bag I also ordered, I’m not going through the hassle of exchanging it, as I need them next week for travel.

Overall I enjoyed using this. I didn’t have time to freeze the ice pack that comes with it before our flight. I packed in about 10 frozen breastmilk packs for a 4 hour flight and they were all still ice cold after the flight, and including about 1 hour drive time in between all that. They had thawed out but I didn’t mind because it got the job done. Probably would’ve stayed more frozen if I had time to use the ice pack. Worth the buy! Haven’t tried it with refrigerated milk but I’m sure it still is just as good

i love the look of this and it has been super useful to hold my kiinde bags even with an ice pack. I can fit 8 bags in there if needed when I work my 10 hour shift. I haven't had to use the cooler portion for an extended period of time because i can store my milk in the fridge at work. however for the one overnight use the milk was still cold in the moring. I also like on the back i can put an ID tag or papers i cut a photo down to size to always have a picture of my little one with me
