Q: Is this a resealable bag?

We ended up buying a medium sized resealable container to put the food in. My hedgies do not like some of the meal in it. They love the meal worms and we ended up adding kitten food to the mix because that’s what they were eating when we adopted them. I don’t think they have ever been fed actual hedge hog food though.

Q: Are these easy to chew? I have to grind the cat food I feed her right now.

Yes they are very soft almost fragile if not careful, find them to be so much better than cat food. We have used for past year and our hedgehog appears to be very healthy and happy. It comes with meal worms as well as the pellets.

Q: How long would the 2 lb. bag typically last for one hedgehog?

Hedgehogs won’t eat very much each day. Only a few ounces. So this will last at least a month. But if I give my hedgehog mealworms he will eat them all. He loves mealworms. And he picks them out of this food first. He’s pretty big as far as hedgehogs go. So if yours is smaller it will eat less and the bag will go further.

I'm not understanding the question. Hedgehogs are omnivores. It has pellets and meal worms in it.
