Worked Right Away!
Worked perfectly with our Samsung TV that has Onkyo surround sound. So nice to open it and be able to use it right away!!!

Works great as a replacement for RC-570M!
This appears to be a universal remote that is already pre-programmed for Onkyo receivers. Works well and has almost all the functions of the original. Only one I can seem to see that it doesn't have is the display dimmer button. Seems to be of decent quality.

Works for the Onkyo TX-DS797 6.1 reciever!
100% Works with the Onkyo TX-DS797 reciever. It took me waaaay too long to source a remote for my reciever after the original stopped working, thankfully I found this!

Uh. Uh!
This didn't work with my TCL TV. It might work with your TV brand. The brand is on the list that comes with the item I tried and tried but it did not connect. So use caution when purchasing this item.

Worked Great For Me
Worked right out of the box for my Onkyo receiver, once I added my own batteries.(Batteries not included.) No problems whatsoever, and I received it quickly. I only use it for the Onkyo receiver.

Onkyo replacement remote
The product I received is the exact same replacement of the remote I had. The old remote didn’t function to change volume or turn off my receiver. The new replacement came in and I didn’t even have to program it! Way easier to get through amazon then going directly through Onkyo.

May as well throw the $23 in the trash
Save your money and avoid this aftermarket piece of garbage. This remote worked for less than one week. Button functions sporadically worked for the first three days, and by week's end, the only button that did work was the power. Pressing the button still lights up the 'remote mode' buttons at the top-right, but the data does not transmit to the receiver, as the red light on the Onkyo receiver does not blink like it received information (except it does work for the power button). Called Dan's Electronics using the phone# on the back of the remote, and the CSR offered to replace the remote, and have me pay for shipping (uh, no). I was hoping Dan's would have tech support, and show me a way to reprogram the remote for the receiver, but instead, the CSR pointed me to the Onkyo manual which has instructions on how to reset the remote to factory defaults. I had already dug up this manual the first day the remote stopped working, but did not apply the factory reset, since I didn't want the power button to stop working. Sure enough, the factory reset completely wiped the remote, and now the power button, along with all the other functionality of the remote, is gone. There is no other way to pair the remote to the receiver using codes in this manual - codes are only for TVs, DVD players, etc. When thinking about purchasing a replacement, spend the extra $20-$30 on the OEM version of this remote, and avoid this waste of money altogether.
