Just got this product and I can say that I like that you can choose between a softer and brighter light setting with the simple press of a button. The button is a lot more user friendly than the turning cap most flashlights have. Additionally, the lantern mode can substitute for a light in a dark environment. Thanks for giving us a flexible solution to combatting the darkness.

I was using one of the lanterns for a short period of time on the high brightness setting. And, I heard a popping noise and the lantern showed a brightness spot from the light section afterwards. Testing the other lantern overnight, the same thing happened in terms of a brightness spot appearing in the light section. After opening up both lanterns, I saw both plastic seating areas around the LED had been deformed by what looks like too much heat. One can conclude there is a design flaw in the lantern that cannot handle the high brightness setting without melting the plastic seating area of the LED. There was no warning in the product instructions about using the high setting too long even though it was used for only a short time.

It is my first flashlight in this style and I needed one of this size to save space and use batteries accessible and easy to get after a hurricane like the one we just suffered here in Puerto Rico, I recommend it for domestic use I hope to buy more.

I ordered a pair of these lights based on the reviews here. At first I was pleased, they have a very sturdy construction, seem to be pretty durable. But when our power went out during a hurricane, the light worked about 1 hour and then quit. So I swapped a new set of batteries, but no avail. It just died and would not come on. Very frustrating.

These are better than expected. They are strong flashlights and the lantern is also very bright. They were stocking stuffers for my kids. I had to give the product info to several family members because they were all impressed.

What a great design for a personal flashlight! They are bright at 300 lumens & pocket sized. The way they slide into a lantern makes them good value for stationary light as well. Two for $15 can’t really be beat.

The lantern/ flashlight is nice, however it keeps going into the emergency blinking mode, making it pretty useless as a light

Light weight and lantern capability is wonderful when in a campsite or trying to do something with your hands and still needing good light. Beats holding a flashlight in your mouth by a mile
