Big Bore RC Shock for Slash 4WD, Stampede 4x4, Hoss 4x4, Rustler 4WD - 4PCS Aluminum Full Metal Shocks, Replace 5862, Navy Blue

I love these shocks! Much stiffer than og.. & they match my rustler! Would purchase again and again... If needed! I bash relatively hard and they're holding up. I love the threads to adjust stiffness & the aluminum caps. No oil leaks ECT.

I was very happy with these shocks. 3 of them are perfect, added oil and they fell great. How ever one of them had an extremely scratched shaft and leaks extremely bad. I tried to polish the shaft and then I used the supplied replacment o ring in the bottom of the shock. It helped but is still leaking. Would love have them send me one more shock or shaft. I don't want to have to return all 4 just to get one replaced. Over all good deal for the money I would definitely take a chance on these again in the future.

The Shocks on my Traxxas Slash 4x4 were a weak point out of the box. After wasting $14 on the aluminum caps the bottom spring cups began falling off and I bent one too. We do play rough with our Slash 4x4’s but we DO NOT do the crazy skatepark jumping, Huss “normal” roughhousing type messing around & the shocks and A arms are junk/ These shocks had the best reviews of any I found (at a reasonable price) on Amazon. Shipping was fast and I installed them today along with a set of RPM A-arms. Very pleased so far. They seem to be very well made, very beefy in design and they seem to lift the truck a little which I like. Only wheeled it for 10 minutes in front of house and they held up fine even after a few hard curb hits. Son & I have a proper trip planned for the weekend & will update this review after a day of wheeling.

Perfect little upgrade for the price.

Took em to a track once point of buying them was to prevent shock blowouts n yet the shock blew the top right off after one jump shearing the threads off shock head stripping them making the shock useless

Shocks work, perfect easy fit. The only thing is make sure you have oil they do not have oil in them.

If you see reverted off no leaking. It’s because they don’t come with shock oil in them. Noticed it was way too bouncy so i popped one open. All were empty. Haven’t run them yet so we’ll see if they don’t leak

I run these on my 4x4 slash but the springs themselves are just too stiff. Honestly the stock traxxas shock are more adequate! They do look cool tho. But save up for a name brand product where they have tested over and over till it works perfectly. This shock was just slapped together and has no balance of dampening and compression.
