Junk.
A) Only one of the two charge leads on the charge cable works.B) I put the collars on the dogs inside, before taking them out. One of the 2 collars was going off for no reason. Beeping, vibrating. And as I found out when I put the collar on myself to see what was going on, shocking as well. When I went near the electric stove top. And areas of the living room. The perimeter wiring and control unit aren't even in the house. They go from my shop, (separate building) around the property, way outside the house. How am I supposed to use this system to train a puppy. When I don't have control over the collar receivers, when they are going to go off for no reason?

Dissapointed
Received product and was initially impressed with the quality of the collars, much more robust than other products I had used. However, things went downhill quickly from there...Once charged, we attempted to set up and use the collars using the instructions. After spending about an hour trying to pair the collars (again using the instructions), I gave up. Finally, my wife googled the product and found a you tube video showing how to ACTUALLY pair the collars FOR A DIFFERENT BRAND. So the supplied instructions are incorrect.Once we had the collars paired, we tested them through their functions.1. The warning beep is way to quiet, unless you have your head down by the collar you can't even tell it is working, especially outside if there is any background noise.2. The indicator light is just barely a light, you cannot see the flashing if you are outside at all.Again, these were supposed to be an upgrade for a much cheaper product we already had, so rather dissapointed. The perimeter fence wire is a joke, way too thin in my opinion. The jacketing is quite brittle. Once I had my zone set up according to the instructions, I tested the collars one at a time. 50% of the time they work as advertised, but I am nowhere near trusting this system. I am going to purchase some upgraded wire and spend some more time with the setup to see if I can "fine tune" it, but at the moment we are still using the gate :(

Seems to do the trick
We set up the unit and had some troubles so we had to call customer service. This call was made on a weekend after business hours and they called us back within a couple hours. The representative was very knowledgeable and impressed my husband, which is hard to do. That being said the issue we had is only because we misunderstood what they meant by boundary. We thought the knob that says 0-10 was for how wide the warning zone is when it's not. If you have a problem with intermittent service when checking the collars against the fence line, adjust the knob down or up accordingly. We have ours set at 6 for around 4 acres and it works great now. It's managed to keep a German Short Hair pointer and Vizsla (both high energy active dogs) within the perimeter while being supervised. Our GSP used to get outside and book it, he could run over 10kms before we managed to catch him with his tracker. The collars with remote work great on their own for training purposes. Our GSP had very little training when we adopted him and very little house manner so this device has come in handy. With lots of praise and treats he learnt so quickly. We only ever need to press the sound or vibrate and it is enough to correct him. This purchase is ending up to be such a life saver. We're still teaching them boundaries so I haven't just let them out on their own yet. So far we're very happy.

Great Features, Bad Execution
We really wanted to like this product. Especially after buying extra wire and spending two days burying it all around our .75 acre property. Unfortunately the beep on the collar is SO quiet that we can not properly train our dog to the perimeter. If we can’t hear the beep we don’t know when he’s too close. Because of this he accidentally got shocked a few times and now he starts panicking as soon as we put the collar on. This was a VERY expensive waste of money and we wish we could return it.

Very good and sturdy system and also includes a remote!
I bought a two dog system, the ground is frozen so I attached the wire to chain link fence and it works good without interference issues. I like the beep warning before the static correction. The other systems I previously bought and returned would give a beep and static correction at the same time and that kind of defeats the purpose of the beep.I love the remote, it's great to train your dogs.I highly recommend this system... my dogs love it!
