Abeego, The Original Beeswax Food Storage Wrap - One Natural, Giant 13 x 24" Sheet

Love it, I used it for bread , produce , leftovers and etc . It is very useful . I have bought this to replace my previous Abeego Beeswax (it lasted for about 1 1/2 years)!

These are nice, durable beeswax wraps! The sheets are super easy to clean, usually a rinse is enough and wiping it with a sponge doesn’t hurt it. It seems to keep my food fresh, or maybe even fresher than plastic wrap. I don’t miss the worry of plastic and the gross moisture that plastic can trap.

....it is rather hard. It should be just a bit softer and more pliable. For this reason I'm giving it 4 stars.

Keeps my veggies and berries fresh twice as long. I rinse, then dry the fruit or celery, carrots, radishes, etc. then wrap with linen towels and wrap the whole thing with these wax pieces. I can re-use the wraps for over a year with no problems. This has reduced my reliance on plastic wrap completely. I still have one roll of plastic wrap that I purchased over 8 years ago because I discovered this brand of beeswax wrap about 7 years ago through the PackageFreeShop.com people. I will use it on occasion when I’m giving something away, but once I’ve used that up I have no reason to go back to plastic film.

I am so glad that these exist. I always feel weird about covering leftovers in plastic. Also, I take the time to bake bread and tortillas just to avoid the commercial plastic wrapping, so why proceed to wrap my baked goods in plastic? I'd rather wrap food in something that smells natural, like Abeego, than the toxic scent of plastic. I honestly don't wash them all the time, because they end up being like lids and covers in the fridge, and I just wipe the crumbs out and transfer the next loaf of fresh bread in. So I'm hoping that by treating them gently, they will last much longer than one year, offsetting the price. Couldn't be happier with my lovely wraps.

The size and flexibility of this wrap is terrific, and I love that it's reusable. The only reason for the loss of two stars is the natural fragrance. I've found it alters the fragrance of the food I'm covering after awhile. It's not terribly offensive, but it's an underlying flavor note.

This wrap is the perfect size, pliable, and works great - love it!

I love this product for sandwiches, fruit, etc. my only complaint is that if it is on a dish for a bit, there is some wax transfer to the dish. Other than that, I makes being environmentally aware easy!

So useful and pretty. It seems to really keep things fresher for much longer and is pretty easy to wash and reuse. These are also really great housewarming gifts paired with a gourmet honey or bottle of wine or whatever, because they're so unique and handy Everyone who sees mine loves them. Get the largest ones so you can cut one in half or into triangles which wrap nicely around fruits and veggies

I've had these for a few years now... they just keep getting better. Prolong the life of breads, produce, and many other food products. Other brands are lightweight or stiff and don't really mold nice like these do. Highly recommend!

I was really excited to try this on our celery to see if it would extend its life. We had been having an issue with our crisper getting too cold and freezing our celery just enough to ruin it. Happy to say that the celery seems to thrive in the large wrap. I just wrap it like a burrito. I think it's almost 2 weeks in the crisper now and no limp or ruined celery to date. I forgot to mention in my other review of the smaller size wraps that I have a long English cucumber going strong now for almost the same time! We never had luck with cukes in the crisper. Now I just remove the plastic from the grocery store and burrito wrap it. I'm sure there's another wrap technique, but mine works.

Awesome wraps! I’ve had these for years and they’re still going strong. Keeps sliced avocado fresher (and they stay less brown) than plastic wrap or bags. They take minimal cleaning and don’t get gross or smelly. Better for you and better for the environment. Less plastic waste and money overall :)

I got it for my baguettes and it's perfect. The wrap itself is leakproof but you shouldn't put any liquid inside since it can never be fold on itself tight enough so that there would not be a leak.
