Mussini Balsamic Pearls, Pomegranate, 1.76 Ounce

The product I received was not the product I ordered. I needed the product to supplement what I already had for my Christmas dinner. I was offered a replacement at no cost however I was not comfortable that they would ship the lemon pearls rather than a jellied product that I just received

They are ok but not what I was thinking when you say pearl. I was thinking on the lines of the infused spheres. They as you see are tiny just like cavier if I had to compare them to something. I will have to use them as a garnish now then my original intent.

I misread these as being made via spherification. Instead, these pearls are simply made by thickening with agar and locust bean gum. I guess if you're looking for a non-encapsulated balsamic pearl these are ok. Flavor is good.

These pearls are not as good as others that I have tried. They stick together too much and are difficult to add without “clumping” together.

Very watery.

Nasty, taste like pearls of chemicals. Very disappointed, likely I tasted them before serving them to guests. Tossed them in the garbage. Waste of my money.
