Replace the old one, and problem solved.

I watched several Youtube videos on how to repair a GE fridge, about 10yrs old, where both the fridge and freezer side were not keeping set temps. The fridge was too warm and the freezer was too cold. Most if not all videos claimed this little thermoster in the lower freezer (there are 2 in the freezer, one lower, one higher and one in the fridge side) was the culprit 99% of the time. The package arrived in like 2 days. I followed the instructions on the videos and had the part replaced in less than a 1/2hr. Granted, we had unplugged the fridge and allowed it to completely defrost. I did this in the late morning and the fridge/freezer were fully functioning by evening. It's been about 2 weeks and working perfectly. Very happy as this probably saved several hundred dollars in a repair job or way more if we had replaced the fridge/freezer. Thanks.

Sent back as sensor did not work. Great company to deal with.

OMG! This part saved up a couple of hundred dollars. Given we were about to by a new fridge since we had our GE Cafe since 2010, we save a couple thousand. And my teenage daughter jumped in and helped using YouTube since my big ass couldn't get into the space to tighten the wire connectors.
