Gyokucho Razorsaw Ryoba Saw, 240mm No. 610 with Replaceable Blade

This was one of my first two Japanese pull saw. I am very impressed with their capabilities. They are easy to use, even to cut something as big as a 4x4. Easy to get a straight cut, pulls with less effort than a push saw, and leaves a narrow and straight kerf.

I love these saws, and the Gyokucho brand is one that comes recommended from professionals in the know. Don't know where they were for the first 10yrs of my woodworking career but darn glad I found them now. Can't recommend highly enough!

This saw cuts very fast and accurate. I love all my pull saws. This one is also made in a 12" size but I have not found a need for one yet..

This is one awesome handsaw. MUCH better one than you can buy at a big box store. You won't regret this purchase. The instructions are in Japanese. My wife is Japanese, so she was able to read them to me. The main things are to place your body and weight over the saw as you use it not back away from it, level the saw to cut between 5 and 10 degrees and always cut straight across the board at 90 degrees. Absolutely love it.

Got it just in time for some trim cutting. Works great while not the best it is tool you need to have if you have a wood working shop. A little flimsy but I am not cutting down trees with it and there price was right.

Works very well, starting to collect these over the traditional western saw styles - Hope the replacement blades will still be available in the future.

I've never so much as even smelled a saw in my life. I only bought this so I could flick the tip of the blade and then wobble it about to make the "WIBBY WIBBY WIBBAH WOBBAH" noise over and over again. Keeps me occupied for days.

Love it. Only used the cross cut side thus far, but I can’t think of a time I’ve ever had a saw cut look as good as it did. Buy one. You’ll love it.

Requested as a Christmas present this year by my son, as seen by the results he is very pleased with his saw.

The cross and with grain cuts work amazingly. So pleasing and quick to use. I've even abused this by cutting 10 inch logs with it without issue. Looks funny to see a 10 inch log with such a fine surface afterwards. Very accurate.
