I have been building skateboards for a few years now, so I have gone to great lengths to find the best parts with the best price point to complete my boards. I discovered Skitch while searching for LED wheels, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found these bearings on Amazon. I immediately scooped up three sets because I love the price point. I have one set on a longboard, one set on a skateboard, and I gave the final set to one of the guys at the skatepark because his Reds were trashed.Between lots of guys riding my boards and the guy with his own set, we have put them through pretty rigorous testing. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with many putting them on par with Reds, Indies, and Bronsons. I personally have been testing them with two identical longboards, one with Reds, one with Skitch. I have yet to see any significant difference other than price point.All we’re waiting for before opinions are finalized is to see how they hold up over time. Most of us go through a set of Reds, etc. every couple months, so it will be interesting to see how it turns out.Keep up the great work, and I will continue to get the word out. First impressionsThe fact that the bearings have two nylon protects it’s amazing, it’s make the “clean life” bigger and improve the life of the bearings too.The speed rings (washers) doesn’t look like a precision ones, but it’s just a visual impression, I didn’t measure it.Using the bearings, without a long training yet because a little injury in the middle of the training, I felt that the bearings are fast, I got 17 mph in the same points of my everyday course where I usually get high speeds (about 18-19mph), but I wasn’t putting the normal energy, so I believe I can be faster with it.For now, I liked the bearings, I can’t say anything about durability now, because I’m not a trick skater, so I need to ride more miles (did just 13 miles yet) to talk about that.

These are the first aftermarket bearings I've ever gotten and skated on. I replaced the bearings on my green Chaya Premium rollerskates because it wasn't skating as smooth as my red ones. No issues so far, skating is smooth, feels like I'm gliding, I don't see the need to buy any others. Value for the money is excellent. The skating I do is trail, rink, and jam/dance, with a skate dedicated for each. These bearings were put on the skates I use to trail skate. Everything else on the skates stayed stock.I would purchase again, also from the same seller. Buying experience had no problems and bearings came in two days like I'm used to with prime.

So after a nearly 30 year break from skateboarding I ordered me and my wife a couple longboards. The boards are great but the bearings were sticky and after a few outings I knew they had to go. Back when I used to skate as a kid my dad worked for a bearing distributor and I got really fast precision bearings. I saw these bearings and noticed it was a start up company and I like to support new business so I bought two sets for boats boards. When I got home today and popped them in and went out. It was like I went back in time and was on my old Vision Jinx. These bearings are outstanding! I followed my dad into the bearing/power transmission industry so I’ve seen junk and I’ve seen the best and are these are really really good. Roll smooth, no excess vibration and super quiet. I ordered the re-issue yesterday of my old Vision Jinx and ordered another set of SKITCH for the wheels I got for it. Can’t wait to jump back on it and hit the skate park.

Great value! Before installing, I was able to test all four bearings with good free spinning. Somehow when I installed the bearing with wheels into the trucks, I can't tighten up too much to allow the wheels to spin more freely with my Sector 9 Racer wheels. Maybe the spacers provided are a bit shorter. So, when tightening all the way, bearings are being squeezed to make them not freely spin. I am not sure. So, the only solution for me is that I have to unscrew all of four wheels' locknuts about 1/32 ~ 1/16 turns (just a bit but not to let bearing/wheel wobbling) to allow the wheels/bearings to spin more freely. My other longboard's setup using Bone Red bearings with my Sector 9 Steam Roller wheels (with spacers also) doesn't have this kind of issue. I need to tighten down since I am doing a lot of sliding over the hill - any small loosen wheel locknuts with wobbling are not good. However, overall, I think the bearing set is a good value.
