Used, but in excellent condition
I purchased this book after I returned from Morocco. One of the women on the trip had it and it's a wonderful book on Morocco without all the extra comments about restaurants and lodging. It's been very helpful in adding to my trip journal as the end of our trip was trying to get out of Morocco when they shut down due to COVID-19. The information on the places we didn't get to see came to life in this book.

Tremendous travel resource
I subscribed to Nat Geo's travel magazine years ago and was not impressed. When researching a trip to Morocco I decided to try their guidebook because of the favorable reviews. I am very glad I did. The photography was, of course, amazing! It helped me decide upon our itinerary with thorough descriptions of the cities/regions. The really big perk that I did not expect was the walking tours. They were insightful relative to the culture (food, music and atmosphere), architecture and natural beauty. I will use Nat Geo's guides again.

Good Morocco travel guide
Although this is not styled as a travel guide, it serves much the same purpose. Good photographs and an interesting description of various cities and sites in Morocco. Useful for planning a trip.

What a great simple source of information
Leaving for Morocco to take friends for a birthday and this book has been an ideal helpmate to guide those who have never been to the lovely Morocco, and simply perfect for those who want reminders of the best to see and do, all in a well-organized guide with the sites to see, the places to stay and the good restaurants to enjoy the exquisite cuisine of Morocco. (I love the suggestions with comments from National Geographic writers recommending their favorite things to do, or things that should not be missed). Going to Morocco? Buy this guide. You won't regret it.

Helpful Introduction to Morocco
This book provides you with basic information to get in and around Morocco. I wouldn't say it does a great job giving you an in depth peak inside the country, in fact (like many guide books) it can romanticize a place rather than give an accurate account, but it provided me with helpful tips to plan my vacation.

Not very helpful for planning excursions
First Amazon review, but I"m annoyed enough with the book, namely the maps that I feel inclined to write a review. Planning a 2 week trip to Morocco in the spring, and I plan on traveling throughout the country. While the information is pretty detailed for each of the destinations, it's very frustrating that the destinations aren't listed or included on the Northern/Southern maps. I find that I'm constantly plugging in things online to map out the itinerary. Erg Chebbi or Merzouga, which is definitely up there in Top 10 experiences in Morocco aren't on the primary maps.
