ELEBOX Aquarium Background Blue Black Fish Tank Background Picture Static Cling Backdrop for Aquarium Wallpaper 24" x 71"

I wanted the black to make everything pop and it definitely did the trick. It did not prime shiplike it said it would, it shipped from China and took a week or so. Also, not sure why it says static cling, there was no adhesion at all and had to be taped but for the price that didn’t make me regret the purchase at all. The white specs in the photo are just air bubbles it being a new tank. Its really a nice crisp black.

This is a 40b. Looks great. Will update photos once I get it planted and filled with water. Please ignore the scratch on the glass.I have never installed one of these before. It is a little tricky on the ends if you don’t cut it right but other than that it went on super smoothly with soapy water. It isn’t a sticker you stick on the back of your tank and it’s not attracted to the glass like some people in the reviews think. You clean the glass,apply soapy water, place the film and squeeze out the bubbles and water, trim the edges and done. There are no instructions in the packaging but they are on the Amazon product images and description.

The backing is nice. It’s thin and flexible. Correct size, and I trimmed off the excess. I used Seachem gel and a squeegee, and it adheres perfectly. The color is a bit lighter blue than advertised. But it’s still a very pretty deep teal-blue.

No where on the description did it state ‘highly reflective’ … within MINUTES of installing on both my betta tanks- both fish were striking the glass, flaring and under immense stress. My poor white fin elephant ear developed stress veins in his fins. I couldn’t rip this background off fast enough! It took them both 3 days to fully calm down, as they were still searching for the ‘betta’ in there with them, flaring and posturing. The background was basic product wise, kinda thin with no adhesive, just wish I knew it was that reflective because I would’ve passed immediately.

I taped it to the back of my tank and it does not lay flat in all areas. It's also super reflective to any light. Very glossy finish. I had better luck painting the back of my fish tank black.
