Works great. No complaints. Easy to setup and no connection issues at all. Use it all the time.

Bought the Smonet G2 Gateway to be able to remotely lock and unlock my Smonet digital door lock. It is simple to set up. NOTE: It will not work with 5g. Only 4g WiFi internet connection. It comes with it's own USB cord 1) Attach the USB cord to the G2 Gateway. 2) Plug the USB cord into a spare USB port. 3) Pair it with your phone app and select the G2. Both "Next Lock" or "TTLock" apps will connect with the G2 Gateway. That's as simple as it is to set up and get working. The product came on time with no glitches.

Had it for quite a while. No problems. Easy setup. Does what it is supposed to do.

We attempted to install the gateway multiple times, but the instructions were insufficient for pairing with the Smonet lock. We were on the verge of returning the gateway. We contacted customer service, and the instructions were emailed to us. They guaranteed that I would be contacted. Nancy responded expeditiously. Because I missed her text message, it would have been great to know that she was contacting me via WhatsApp. The following day, Nancy was able to resolve our issue via WhatsApp text message. It was unclear in the instructions how Nancy would contact me. Nancy noted, however, that we were sharing the admin code via my phone number, whereas I was logged in with my email address on the app. Once I received the email link, my lock became active. Additionally, it would be beneficial to know that only the primary administrator must connect to the gateway. We appreciate your patience and time in resolving this issue for us, Nancy.

Purchased a Somnet which stated it worked with Alexa, however they didn’t say that you needed a gateway. But this did fix the issue of pairing my lock with Alexa and works good.

Update: I originally gave this product a 3 star rating but updated to a 5 based on the customer service in regards to the poor performance of the first gateway. The customer service rep reached out and worked delengently to correct the connectivity problem. A new gateway was sent to me but unfortunately the USPS manged to lose it. ( No surprise) I've now been issued a refund and intend on ordering another. A big thank you to "Jackson" for insuring my satisfaction with their product.

To get right to it, this product works, but maybe about 70% of the time. It’s a great convenience tool, but absolutely NOT something you rely on. I’ve had it for a bit now and it disconnects every few days or so - the only way to reconnect it is to be close to it and reconfigure the connection in the app (very annoying and kind of cancels the convenient factor). I live alone and can deal with it, but if you have children or other factors in your life, this might not be the product for you.

I have an Airbnb and like to control the Smart lock remote. This is a wonderful device easy to install and set up, great connectivity, just be aware it works with 2 4Ghz. My Internet signal strength is kind of weak but had no issues so far. I called the customer service while connecting and that was really quick and helpful assistance. 10 out of 10.
