I bought this blue, softcover Woman's Study Bible a while ago and love it so much that I just bought a second one! Here's why. I will keep the pages in one copy pristine clean so I always have an unmarked version to return to in those moments when I don't want to be influenced by my past notes. Perhaps I will find new meanings at that point. In my second copy, I will use my colored pencils and Pigma Micron 05 pens to record how my understanding about the background and purpose of each each book--what its author intended to say--influences my reading and to record what I find especially significant for my own development as I grow in the Word. I have numerous Bibles but always find myself returning to this one. It is a Bible that, along with all the attributes that other enthusiastic reviewers have mentioned, makes me feel welcomed and respected as a woman. I feel included and at home in this Bible. Providing just the right amount of help but leaving me free to arrive at my own interpretations and applications, it has helped me grow closer to God.
