These are perfectly sized to work as collar extenders. They are too small, I think, to work on waistbands with buttons, but they are not intended for that.Pros:1. Just the right size to fit snugly in a standard shirt buttonhole, so the button end won't easily slip out of the buttonhole. I've had that problem with similar extenders that were slightly smaller.2. The loop is elastic reinforced with fine wire. I expect it to last a long time.3. They are small and therefore easy to lose, but the package is a small reclosable plastc bag, so if you put them back in the bag after you take off the shirt, you'll keep up with them.Cons have to do with the way this inevitably works on the shirt, not the product itself:1. The buttonholes on a shirt are designed to close in a straight line. When you extend the top one, a sort of pleat forms in that line from the top to second buttonhole. If you are wearing a tie this is not very noticeable. In my case I am extending a clerical collar shirt. The extender is covered by the clerical collar tab, but the pleat is noticeable below it. If you try to link two to give you even more room, the pleat would be even more obvious.2. Look closely at the photographs of the product. The button ends are not solid white or black. There is a rim of silver around the outside edge, so they don't blend as well as I had hoped with the existing buttons.3. Be sure to take the extender out before putting the shirt in the washing machine. Enough said.On the whole, this is a very good value for the price, and a product that does just what it says.

Feels sturdy. Great value. One thing I was surprised by is there is no transparent or clear version. The picture made it appear that way. I would not return it, still a good product. Just would be nice to have that mentioned in the description.

Not sure why the studs come in more than one color, but no matter the color they are classy and work well.

Arrived quickly and I use them 5 days a week. Really easy to use and the assortment of colors helps to match the outfit of the day.

This did give my boyfriend a little more breathing room around his neck, but since the extender is metal it is reflective and very obvious that there is something extra going on with the top button if your shirt. I can only recommend if you can cover with a tie or bow tie.

This worked perfectly to expand my collar just enough so I could put in a tie.

When I started my new career with the City, I had to purchase a ton of dress clothes. Then after a year of working, I really focused on my fitness and I ended up working out 5-6 days a week. Needless to say, I could no longer wear some of my favorite dress shirts with a tie b/c it would take two people to successfully button the top button on my dress shirt since my neck size, chest, and shoulders had increased in size. I heard about these on a Facebook ad and I had to check them out. They can be a little clunky to install and they do not bring the collar together at the top (if you're wearing a tie). But the relief on my neck and being able to breathe again is a very good thing. Plus I didn't have to go by shirts with a bigger collar. Thanks, Sungrace, these are just what I needed. Additionally, they come with many button styles to try and match your shirt buttons. But if you're wearing a tie, then you'll never see the button.
